Year 2005 Romance

If your New Year gets off to a bit of a slow start in the love department, work on your romantic karma by doing some of your trademark matchmaking. Your perceptiveness and natural knack for connections, along with your subtlety and diplomacy, mean that in January and February you can easily assist those who tend more toward floundering in the realm of romance. They'll thank you, and by March you'll reap some intense rewards. The fabulousness of the weekend of March 25th is practically overwhelming, as you're showered with attention and dishing it right back out to someone wonderful.

Around April 8th, spring blossoms for you, and it's all about relationships -- and it's all up to you. Get clarity surrounding what you truly want, and then all you have to do is communicate to obtain it. The weekend of April 22nd and the following days find you sitting pretty in the realm of romance, perhaps with the perfect someone to share your throne. Things develop at an exponential rate from there, with May and June sprinkled liberally with happy days and increasingly hot nights.

You're not prone to jealousy, but if something offends your sense of fair play in the love arena at summer's outset, you could find yourself suddenly cozy with the green-eyed monster. Don't hold it in; with your natural grace, you can express your feelings (perhaps around mid-July) and come out feeling better and stronger. Your relationship or a potential one will benefit as well, with some sweet results to be found toward the end of August.

If a romantic test comes your way in September, you'll pass with flying colors, and the beginning of October invites fresh, exciting new energy into your love life. Be open and let it in no matter what unusual form it may take, and be ready for almost anything to happen. November offers several days of particular sweetness beginning on the 12th, while your December holidays are happily family-oriented -- and your notion of family may suddenly, beautifully expand. And from December 24th through January 2006, you have a stellar opportunity to examine and reshape the role of love in your life.

Year 2005 Career

Jupiter likes you this year, and that's good for business. Good luck will flow your way naturally, and if anything doesn't seem absolutely perfect in January, it'll be resolved by the end of the following month. Work will take care of itself for a while starting the last week in March, as the Moon sees to it that you start checking in with your personal life and reestablishing a balance.

Don't look directly at the solar eclipse on April 8th, but do look deeply into your beliefs and attitudes toward your career. The bright light will help you focus on what you need to change in order to move forward at the right pace. The light will go out on the 24th as the lunar eclipse helps you settle back into your comfort zone in the workplace. Your successes in May and June might spark a bit of a competitive frenzy among your peers, but you'll end up ahead.

There ain't no cure for the summertime blues, and this year is no exception. You might feel drained by all the demands placed on you throughout July. At some point in August you'll find a nice point to take a break and might even get some recognition for all your hard work. As autumn approaches, you can expect some conflict with supervisors or maybe an intractably difficult client. Ride it out, but don't give in.

After all of that, you'd like for the fall to be gentle and easygoing. Instead, more eclipses -- in Libra, no less -- make you the star attraction. You'll need to show off how flexible you are as big changes try to sweep you away. If you bend in the wind, you won't break, and you'll ride out the rest of the holiday season in high style.

Daily Extended Forecast for January 03, 2005

Mata Hari has temporarily set up shop at your place, and she's doing all of her deals from your phone or email -- in your voice or handwriting. Now that you know, you'll expect what tumbles out of your mouth to be extremely seductive, intriguing and passionate. The thing is, your sweetie won't be expecting the same, and may feel overwhelmed. What to do? Well, if it's the good kind of passion, have at. If it's the other kind, force yourself to be gentle.

Quickie:

You have a strong hand and a steady gaze. It's a good combination.

Overview:

Passionate words are definitely on the agenda. The more emotional the issue, the more explosive those words could become. Now, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Who ever won someone's heart -- or someone's support -- by being shy?

Daily Flirt:

You're the center of the universe -- again. Even if you let go of your ego ages ago, it's still flattering to find your people seeking you out for advice and company.

Daily Couples:

You excel at flirting, and it's not necessarily meant to be sexy. Charm your way into the deepest recesses of your partner's heart.

Daily Singles:

You're turning heads despite the fact that you feel like you're having a bad hair day. Let it be a reminder to you that you can be your own worst critic -- other people see the beauty in you. Join them!

Daily Career

Make your presence known in industry circles. Mingle with clients and competitors and show them you're a force to be reckoned with. Once your name is out there, they won't easily forget it

Daily Overview for January 04, 2005

Quickie:

Sometimes you can't avoid the paparazzi. Better just enjoy the attention.

Overview:

Intrigue and secrecy are all around you, but that's never been your style. What could you possibly have to gain by being mysterious? Do what you do best. Let them know how you feel, and why. Nicely.

You'll be torn between keeping absolutely, one hundred percent silent and letting absolutely everything you know be known. What a decision! That's the dilemma when you're feeling both conversational and all-or-nothing. Once you've made your decision about which way to go, don't waffle. Let the rest of the world play games. You're above that. Right?

Daily Flirt:

It's either time for a new love connection, or time for you to ramp up the romance with your current squeeze. You're the one that needs to make the move.

Daily Couples:

Playful high energy jump-starts a new era of enjoying each other's company. Tease away any bad moods or downer attitudes -- love is what you make of it.

Daily Singles:

Your sincerity paired with your natural charm captures extra attention now, and witty repartee flows fabulously from your lips. Put yourself in a social situation and watch it heat up.

Suddenly, victory seems so simple. You're winning converts and vanquishing competitors with ease. This may be the beginning of a whole new way of doing things around here.

Daily Overview for January 09, 2005

Quickie:

Stop waiting for the phone to ring. Pick up and make the call yourself!

Overview:

You've been taking a look around you lately, and you've decided it's time for a change. You may not be ready to move, but you're certainly up for some redecorating. Get on it while you're in the mood.

Your home and family issues need some straightening up, and you're perfectly ready to get the show on the road. Of course, with the stars in a serious mode, you've really got only one option: to make some profound changes, no matter how odd or unusual. In fact, you might have to let your dear ones know that you're entirely serious. Ready?

Daily Flirt:

You're stuck between longing for the past and a desire to move forward. It's time to pack up those old memories and look toward the future.

Daily Couples:

The past could loom larger than the present, let alone the future. Take some time to talk together about unresolved issues to get started in a new direction.

Daily Singles:

Your clear opinions and emotions are muddied now, perhaps by murky romantic memories or misplaced sentimentality. Let yourself feel it, but if you start to dwell, talk it out with a friend or your journal.

Daily Career

Don't embark on a battle with a boss unless you're really convinced it's worth fighting over. Are you fighting just to fight? Remember who holds the cards here, and act accordingly.

Daily Overview for January 15, 2005

Quickie:

Keep an eye out today. You never know who's sneaking up behind you.

Overview:

Isn't it amazing what a day off and a lot less stress can do for your disposition? Or is there another reason you're feeling so much better? Like maybe a certain someone you've finally managed to hook up with?

This is going to be a time to remember for all the right reasons. The romantic stars will have already stormed their way into your house of one-to-one relationships when you wake up, so don't expect to see much of your friends today. Except for maybe that one particularly close friend, of course. You two will quite literally be inseparable, straight through the morning. Perfect timing, huh?

Daily Flirt:

You're either on top of the world or on bottom today -- but if you don't like where you are, it's all too easy to just flip yourself over and enjoy the other side.

Daily Couples:

Put yourself behind the scenes to help your sweetheart get something big accomplished -- and pat yourself on the back in private.

Daily Singles:

It's all about relationships now, whether it's one from the past, one that's barely begun or the possibility of a fresh start lurking around the corner. Be positive -- that's the way to create your own fabulous reality.

Daily Career for January 15, 2005

If you don't like the view from where you're sitting, now is the best time to switch positions. Ninety percent of this attitude slump is all in your head, and only you can change that part

Daily Overview for January 19, 2005

Quickie:

Your face is a photograph of your feelings. Vulnerability is your strength.

Overview:

Tired of hearing about romance? Bet you're not. You're the most romantic sign in the heavens. So hearing that more tender times are coming up -- probably for at least the next month -- won't break your heart. Enjoy!

Ready for yet another day of passion, tender whispers and loving glances? Sure it's tedious, but you do have your rep*tation to think of, so you'll probably do your best and bear up under the pressure just fine. Oh, and by the way, this is brought to you courtesy of the stars, who have plenty more of it in store. Yep. Sure is rough being you. Pardon your pals if they're not all that sympathetic to your plight.

Daily Flirt:

Does it feel like you're carrying around an extra hundred pounds? It's time to let go of some of that detritus that's dragging you down, especially if there's a move in your future.

Daily Couples:

Warm affection goes hand in hand with interested minds. Renew interest in your sweetheart with a long conversation.

Daily Singles:

Alliances and attachments of all sorts are in your personal stars. With your charm and social grace you can ease into exactly the spot you've been eyeing -- or help a friend get sweetly situated.

Daily Career

There's some heavy-duty rivalry headed your way, but it will be more distracting than serious. Try to let go of some unimportant territory and you'll come out ahead.

Daily Overview for January 22, 2005

Quickie:

You'll never learn if you don't listen. Follow their cues. Then go your own way.

Overview:

Busy? Oh, yes. You won't be able to stop moving, not for one minute. Just don't get so wrapped up in your chores and errands that you tire yourself out. No fair going to bed early tonight.

Getting a lot done won't be a challenge. Convincing you to stop and take a break may be a problem, however -- and getting you to quit and have some fun tonight may be even tougher. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to save some energy for fun. You know what they say about all work and all play? It's true. And the last thing on earth you should be known for is not being able to have fun, right? Okay. Now step away from the work.

Daily Flirt:

Your plans might be shot by something you hadn't seen coming, but if you're lucky (and flexible), you can still squeeze some good fun out of the day and into the night.

Daily Couples:

Small details add charm to your life. Let those same details charm your partner by drawing them to their attention.

Daily Singles:

Your sense of fairness is offended by an injustice in the realm of romance -- but try as you might to correct it, you may not be able to just now. Go ahead and be indignant, but give it time.

Daily Career

Nothing is ever as easy as it should be, and this is one of those days. If you're taking it easy today, expect a call. If you do, you'll get the jump on a great piece of business.

Daily Overview for January 23, 2005

Quickie:

This time, your heart can't be trusted. Look to your friends for answers.

Overview:

Someone seems to be deliberately pushing your buttons, and they're pretty good at it. Still, you should force yourself not to overreact -- especially since that's most likely what they want you to do.

Don't let them get to you. Sure, that's easier said than done, especially when the person you're up against knows exactly how to push your buttons with maximum efficiency. Still, if you give in and get nasty, you'll be letting them win -- and although your sign has a rep*tation for being fair, that doesn't mean you like to lose. Do what comes best -- and easiest -- to you. k*ll 'em with kindness.

Daily Flirt:

You're running around in circles trying to make up your mind about something -- most likely your love life. It's not going to come down to anything rational, so go with your gut.

Daily Couples:

Focus on emotions, rather than your intellect. Enjoy the day with simple pleasures and goofy pursuits -- go play outside.

Daily Singles:

Your matchmaking skills are unparalleled, so start putting them to good use. Look around at which one and one you can put together to make two -- your own love karma will benefit mightily.

Daily Career

Your feelings are too deeply entwined in your job for you to focus on anything else right now. Try to resolve them before the next big wave hits.

Daily Overview for January 24, 2005

Quickie:

The details only seem mundane. In fact, they're integral to the bigger picture.

Overview:

So what if it's a school night? The universe has once again put romance on the agenda -- and excess, too. That translates into lots of love. Makes you tingle just thinking about it, doesn't it?

The universe hasn't quite had its fill of inspiring you to push the envelope when it comes to overdoing it. That's the 'official' reason for the mood you're in. The unofficial, private reason is that you're in love, and you want your lucky partner -- or prospective partner -- to know just how wonderful life with you can be. Relax. They already know. You don't have to wreak total and complete havoc on your checkbook to prove it.

Daily Flirt:

Life would be mighty dull if everything always went as planned. Roll with it, and just think of the stories you'll be able to tell your grandkids.

Daily Couples:

If your planned routine blows up, don't fret. Go with the shift in plans and share your adventure stories over a quiet dinner.

Daily Singles:

Your unflappability in the face of something that refuses to go the way you'd like is rewarded. It's amazing how just turning your attention elsewhere can change an entire dynamic.

Daily Career

Just when you thought everyone was ready to move forward, an interloper comes along and throws the whole process into disarray. Logic will prevail. But it may take longer than you'd like.

Daily Overview for January 31, 2005

Quickie:

Your weight? Throw it around. No matter what size you are, you'll make a difference.

Overview:

You've got energy to burn, and it's a good thing. The universe has arranged an extremely busy day for you -- you might even call it frenetic. Just stay calm, and keep the coffee intake to a minimum

The heavens have decided to give you your turn at being not just charming, but also extremely persuasive. Of course, that's something you're more than acquainted with, so you're no stranger to this power. At the moment, you'll be even better at it, however, so staying calm and keeping to the rules of etiquette won't be tough. Just be fair. It's what you do best, and what others expect of you.

Daily Flirt:

If you've got work or school or some other drag on your day, it'll pass before you know it. Now you'll have more time and energy for the really important business.

Daily Couples:

Split your time between your social circle and your partner. Play with your habits and see what changes you can make to add a little excitement in both places.

Daily Singles:

All eyes are on you, so enjoy the heck out of the attention. Your sincerity and charm get you noticed now, so don't hesitate to join an impromptu social gathering (or create one of your own).

Daily Career

Don't let a new leadership role or position of authority go to your head. No one likes a sore winner. Especially those you may have beaten out for this assignment.

Daily Overview for February 04, 2005

Quickie:

Once all the options made you dizzy, but lately you've been in perfect balance.

Overview:

You're ordinarily considerate and accommodating, but lately you've been all about having a diva-licious good time. You're beginning to wonder if you've been possessed by an alien. Oh, don't worry. At least it's not a boring alien.

This is not at all like you -- the way you're acting, that is. Just ask anyone. You're being uncooperative, uncompromising and totally unlike your usual self. You're even beginning to wonder what strange beast has occupied you to make you say such outrageous things. The odd part of it is that you're actually enjoying it -- although you'd never admit it. Oh, admit it, you're ready for a great, big change.

Daily Flirt:

You've got some serious interpersonal magic working on your behalf right now, so don't be a chump -- get out there and work it. Drop your hanky and see who picks it up.

Daily Couples:

Expect to be loved and that's what happens. Don't give in to cynicism; show your Pollyanna side proudly.

Daily Singles:

Explore your ideas about romance with a friend or a love interest. The more clear you are about your love life intellectually, the closer you can start getting to your aims heartwise

Daily Career

Your usual breakneck speed might lead to mistakes on your current project, so slow down and double-check your work before turning to the next assignment.
