Anybody...

What the best I.T. profession out in the market?  (Software Development, Network Administration?, Database Admin? etc. ) Kindly share your thoughts..... B)

I know they pay a lot of money overseas for SAP Consultants and for Security Specialists .. but like eagleyes mentioned, the best job is the job where you love what your doing, whether your a programmer, system analyst, system integrator, net admin, dba, technical support or what have you.. sometimes monetary compensation is not the only consideration but it sure helps alot hehehe.. :D

question: i'm interested in taking up CCNA courses. are there good paying jobs waiting for CCNA's out there, aside from call centers? i have nothing against call centers, i'm in one right now. just want to shift into another industry and get a normal day job..

Antonsky,

Call ako dyan, what proof do you need? Sa lahat ng ayaw ko yung walang isang salita.

Let me know what proof you need and I'll send it to you.

am giving you chance to back-out..

but if you're dead serious just be ready with your 500k..

how will i be sure that you will not run away with my 500k?

my assumptions are:

that you are receiving that salary on a monthly basis in a local company and paying that 200k tax.

minimum tax charge for a consultant is 10% otherwise if you are declared as

a regular employee the charge would be more that that rate, so meaning your receiving

a gross of 2M monthly?

a senior executive position in a consulting firm who offers services on SAP dont even received that amount. a sr. executive position in a multi natlt. company who implemented SAP don't also received that much so i don't really understand how did you arrived on that figure.

and if your really earning that 2M monthly bakit ka pumapatol sa 500k lang na pusta ko? any fellows who earn as much as that figure don't waste their time on this thread and such kind of argument. i'm sure alot of us in this forum would be interested to know how did you arrived on that figure.

i am one of the lucky ones doing SAP consultancy... i love my job, not because of money but because of new challenges everyday...

advantage:

1 days work is > 1 month salary in RP (as an asst mgr in a multi-natl company)

disadvantage:

almost 200Kphp a month in taxes

hmmm. i work in an IT consulting firm.

we have SAP consultants who earn at around 200k - 220k month. And these are certified SAP consultants already. Tapos 20k lang (10%) lang ang tax monthly.

Although i am not doubting you, it is still possible that you can have 200k/month in taxes if you are handling multiple SAP project implementations in separate consultancy positions.

If you want a high paying work regarding Cisco then pursue a CCIE certification, quite expensive but the reward is great.

you might wanna try working with Verizon...minimum of 40k ang salary for starters pero there are some who gets more than that kasi they are CCIE (written)...your skill and certs dictates your salary.

^^ if you are a regular employee, at this level of salary, you would be paying 35%. but at a consultants/professional status, you would be only paying 10% every month. ang downside ng consultant status is that you have to shell out moolah at the end of the tax year dahil pareho lang ng bracket as regular salaried employee. ang upside, more net take home pay every month.
