I noticed we have different topics related to medical inquiry for the human health. Maybe we should also have one for our beloved pets.


I hope we'll have an MTC VET to help us out.

I'm no vet. But I think that's normal. Coz on some dog breeds, bi-eyed, and parti-eyed are acceptable to thier standards.

had a similar problem with my cocker spaniel a few years ago. despite several lab tests and several changes in medicine, it took a long time for the problem to get cured. According to the vet, ear infections are very hard to cure, I don't understand why.

In any case, I will not consider long-eared dogs again because of this typical problem.

anyway, i eventually talked to one so i get to answer my own question

5 months is the minimum age for spaying/neutering

maybe this info will be beneficial to other mtc cat people hehe

Is it possible? Where? How much would it cost? I check out with 'Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals" at C.M. Recto and I found out that they only do castration.

ala pa bang lumalabas na vet here? ung isang rabbit ko biglang ginalis ala naman kaming nakita na kahit ano that might caused for it to happen.. sabi nung nanay ng frend ko na vet baka daw nilalanggam di namin nakikita, ala naman.she adviced me na paliguan daw mga 2x a week which we did pero lalong lumalala. i got 4 rabbits so far isa pa lang nagkaganun and hiniwalay na namin sa iba.. i hope may lumutang na na vet here.. i cant afford to see my babies die one by one.. if things get worse ill just go ahead and give away the rest to my frends... di ko naman papaconsult ulit sa mom ng frend ko si sugar kasi nasa pampanga pa sila..

my labrador kasi stays in my family in Manila.... he is stocky and big kaya hirap ako to bring him to vet aside from i stay here in the East...

as per vet advised, he can take table food by the age of 8 months... since yun din nman ang gusto nya... he even spoil half sack of dog food... kasi he was so matakaw of table food which my nephews had him taste.

2 days ago... he dont want to eat table food and now up for dog food... (and maarte... yung mahal pa ang gusto!)... he is like 1 year and 1 month now...

me problema ba siya?...

I have dogs also and it's normal for them to change their diet. Just like as humans,hindi naman pwede na puro adobo na lang ang kakainin natin diba? What i do is aside from feeding them dog food,i put beef broth sa dog food nila para may lasa or i put pork liver sa diet nila para mas magana kumain..

this is oh so late but anyway, just found out that spaying/neutering cats cost around 1500 per cat.

there's this vet in teacher's village in diliman who does it for 1000 each (promo daw)
i live in the south so diliman is a stretch but if you're near there, you can give it a go.

wala nga atang vet dito, got a problem about my beloved parakeet barely 2 yrs old, parang laging gutom at ang laki ng tyan (tyan ba tawag doon) paano ba purgahin ito? sana may lumutang na vet....

15-40% of these pure white cats have one or two blue-eyes.
Deaf white cats with one or two blue eyes account for 0.25 - 1.5 of total cat population

my cat likes to bite and scratch everynow and then. i wanna get it vaccinated for rabies. ...and i want to get some ketamin shots for when its being naughty...

(not for the cat.. but for myself so that i wont mind)

maraming mga vet schools ang nag kakaron ng rabies vaccination drives. check with your barangay chairman.

most dogs naman pag nakakain ng table scraps ayaw na ng dog food. pero baliktad sa yo? dumami ba kinakain nya? how about his poop?
