Hmm ... latter part of my day was wasted. Time, effort & funds spent ...
I was requested (via SMS last Monday) by an event contact to have a 5PM DEMO meeting with them TODAY. I agreed, confirmed & put it in my calendar. Even Googled where the meeting venue is & printed out the map.
Was only while I was on the bus & on my way did I text the contact to ask under what name/group I would need to ask for ... to be guided accordingly.
Oh my gosh Ms Ana apology they cancelled the meeting on Monday...apology on this
Then she called right after ... we talked briefly (I still had to sound PROFESSIONAL). I just told her we can re-schedule another time (after I check my calendar).
LESSON (for me ... this is a 2nd time that something similar happened):
Will need to check + confirm with my contact a day BEFORE or even the morning of the scheduled meeting if we are a GO.
I just dont understand how some people dont take note of the date & time they agreed to meet with you/someone. Everyone's time is precious ...
