Bench and Globe are onboard as sponsors now and there is a Bench billboard at the Edsa / Southsuper overpass featuring a number of the players. Exposure of that sort should raise the profile.

The game that they played against Sri Lanka was live on television throughout the Philippines and was also live around the world on cable - the game was seen in Australia, New Zealand, throughout Asia, the UK and America.

Thanks to these companies then. Hope they'll support our team further.

As a sports that combines more movements like running and jumping and screening, it can easily be taught to the Filipinos. Besides, for practices, it can be done only in some areas smaller than a soccer filed. So I'd favor this game over football if the Filipinos want some diversions from Basketball.

Any team, sports or non-sports, really need some financial support from corporate giants. Let's hope that MVP and others will pay attention to Rugby too

Sure you can - if you PM me some details I can put you in contact with the head of the Philippine Rugby Football Union.

Alternatively go to http://www.prfu.com/ and contact the through the site.

They have Filipino coaches who travel around teaching and promoting the sport.

Nomads rugby club beat the Alabang Eagles on Saturday 45 - 10.

The game was a lot tougher than the score would indicate.

It would be much better if they can start with some sort of grassroot training for future Rugby players
