kaya ng SMB ang TnT provided na laging ganun ang level ng lalaruin ni Danny I (game winner vs Red Bull)... at dapat 100% na si Danny Seigle... the addition of Kiko Adriano would definitely help... of course the most important thing is yung leadership ni Olsen and yung toughness nina Nic Belasco at Dorian... Honeycutt is one hell of an import but kaya ng SMB yan through gang defense... dapat lahat tumulong.... at sana magclick sa labas sina Hontiveros at Seigle... :hypocritesmiley:

sa friday pa ata ang start ng finals.. may time pa sila to prepare for the war...sana nga lang mag clik sila... laking bagay nga yung pag kakuha nila kay adriano.. bigger version siya ni mente.. :thumbsupsmiley:

IT’S A GO FOR ASI IN TNT-SMB FINALS

Talk N Text coach Joel Banal’s prayers have been answered. He will have a full deck at his disposal when the Phone Pals go to war against the San Miguel Beermen starting Friday.

PBA commissioner Noli Eala, after a lengthy meeting with his management committee Thursday night, finally gave suspended Talk N Text center Asi Taulava the go-ahead to suit up starting Game 1 of the PBA Fiesta Conference Finals slated Friday at the Araneta Coliseum.

In a letter sent to Talk N Text Board representative Ricky Vargas, Eala said that after a thorough examination of a letter from Justice Secretary Raul Gonzales and all of the legal antecedents, it is his considered opinion that the Department of Justice has effectively abandoned its previous findings on the matter and that pending the final outcome of the case before the Court of Appeals, the right of Taulava to play in the PBA should be recognized.

Guided by the decision of the Board of Governors to abide by the findings and recommendations of the DoJ with regards to the case of Taulava, Eala thus lifted the suspension of Taulava and reinstated him as an eligible player of the PBA.

The 6-foot-9 Taulava, league Most Valuable Player in 2003, has been suspended since October of 2004.

“Because of this new letter, the DoJ findings last October have been effectively abandoned and superceded,” Eala said after the closed door session with PBA legal counsel Melvin Mendoza, technical manager Perry Martinez, media bureau chief Willie Marcial and operations head Rickie Santos. “Of course, the lifting of the suspension is without prejudice to the final outcome of Mr. Taulava’s citizenship case.”

In reinstating the Fil-Tongan Taulava. Eala said his Office “set aside all of the legal niceties and looked at the paramount interest of the league.”

Banal has stated in all of his pre-finals interviews that his biggest wish was for Taulava to be able to help the Phone Pals. He added it is not to give the team an edge, but to give him a complete team in the finals.

“Asi has always been a part of this team and he is as much a part of this team as everyone else,” Banal said. “Even during his suspension, we have involved him. He continues to practice with us and he has always been part of our preparations for each game we play.”

San Miguel coach Jong Uichico remains unfazed though. Informed of the lifting of Taulava’s suspension, the multi-titled mentor said he remains confident his Beermen can rise to the challenge and pull through.

:boo:

Si Kiko is a gud backup for Dondon, kaso nawawalan ng playing time si Mente. Lucia management.
