Ford Car Reviews

post naman kayo about ford cars

I used to work for Ford before... For me, the best is: Ford Ranger: A real work-horse! Ok din ung Focus Diesel if you want power and mileage. If you want something expensive with a lot of benefits without any concern about the mileage, Ford Explorer! I heard, maglalabas sila ng Ford Fiesta this year. Edited by nadzster

Looking forward to the new explorer coming out! Its coming to Manila in 2011, atleast, thats what I heard. I also heard from the same source that the Ford Fiesta 1.6 powershift 5d is coming in below the 850k mark. Cheaper than the top Vios, Yaris, Jazz and City?

Not bad if you ask me.

Yeah! All of that plus the safety and durability of a Ford! I saw the new Explorer from a Ford site. It rocks!

hello, anybody here have a review for ford focus tdci 2.0 diesel 2010 model ghia ?

Can i give a review of the 5 door? sorry, its the only one that i have actual personal experience.

Being a mazda 3 driver, I was initially not happy driving the 5 door focus powershift. I thought it felt sluggish and slow. I was so wrong! The trick with diesel cars is that you need to have a heavy foot to make the most of it. (unlike gas cars) So when I drove the focus on a Sunday morning around SLEX, I was very happy. Suspension was good, it felt tight, rigid, and responsive. When I have the cash, I'll get the 5 door. Very euro looking.

IMO, The Ghia 4 door kind is a bit of a step back in terms of looks. But if its the powershift added to the tdci, I bet it would still be an awesome car.

if im not mistaken, the tdci powershift can run 24km/liter. But thats a mix of city and highway. Very good if you ask me.

1. Ford Fiesta will really make other mid-range sedan brands worried. For P685,000.00, I would go for the Fiesta!!! Great Looking car for its value!!!

2. But I love the chicks more around those cars!!! I have pics of those chicks which I will post later...

if you guys have face book, ford has an account. I was able to attend the launch of the new ford fiesta last night! nice car. I think it will really give the jazz and yaris a good fight.

I don't know how Ford is locally, but when I was still in SoCal, me and the homeboys used to joke that Ford stands for Fix Or Repair Daily. Haha. And we're not talking about old clunkers, man. We had them late 90's/ early 00's Fords, and uhmm.. let's just say they weren't the best. HAHA.

was listening to mo twister on the radio 2 weeks back and he was complaining of his brand new vehicle having a busted taillight. when he went to the dealer to complain about this, he was told that that part wasn't available and that he should wait for 3-4 weeks while they ordered it. mo couldn't believe that he has spent millions of pesos for a brand new car and immediately, something gets busted. but what really aggravated the situation for him was the non-availability of the part.

to pacify mo, the people at the dealer consented to his suggestion that the part needed be taken from the same brand new vehicle sitting in their display. haha!

initially, mo didn't want to identify the make of his car. but after some prodding, he told his listeners that what he had was a 2010 expedition.

now a listener also called and said the same sad experience they had with their new expedition- after just 2 months, the vehicle breaks down. after bringing it to the casa, ford informs them that the part needed was unavailable and needed weeks to deliver. wtf?! i just couldn't recall who reported their dilemma with ford first- mo or the caller.

having heard that, i don't know what to make of ford. afterall, my best bud has had 2 everests, one after the other, and swears by them. it's probable that the u.s. assembled fords are lame and the asian assembled ones are well built.

the very first car our family had was a willy's jeep wwII vintage. then our second car was a ford fiera, at first it was running smoothly, and after only 3 years it started to have lots of breakdowns, I did'nt know what it was , I was still very young to understand the ford mechanisms. But my parents even bought another one used as 'pampasada'. again running good for 2 to 3 years and brokedown more often after that.

been using expedition since 2000 and mine is one trusty, durable and comfortable ride; also have been very fortunate with the parts that needed replacements since downtime has been kept to a minimum by the trusty ford alabang dealership. the caveat tho' on some parts will really tick you off, for example, the panel glass holder in the power window mechanism in the driver side will set you back 37,000php. yes you read it right 37,000php for a mere window panel glass holder, wondering why? because ford by its sheer genius, doesnt make that holder part but instead they will prompt you to purchase the whole set- meaning including the glass panel, what morons!!!!!! lucky for me that glass panel holder i needed replaced was able to be copied by a steel machine shop fabricator and just paid 1,000 bucks for the two pieces glass holder i need.

It's probable that the parts from the US are not shipped by air. So it takes a longer time getting the parts here. There's also the forex and tax complications since the parts are from the US.

The pickup and Everest are from Thailand, as well as the Fiesta, I think.

I'm not sure if the Focus is being assembled here.
