multi level marketing experiences

Recommended Posts

kalokohan yang multi-level. yung mga may ari at nasa itaas lang ang nakikinabang dyan. lahat na ng produkto ginamit na sa MLM; vitamins, sabon, toothpaste, kape, etc. modified ponzi scheme lang yan, pyramiding pa rin at the end of the day.

korek bro! magtayo ka na lng ng sari-sari store kaysa magpaloko ka sa mga ganyan. they will present to you very good marketing plans and revenues if you join but those are too good to be true. at dahil sa greed marami ang naloloko.

MLM is just a fancy word for pyramiding. A lot of MLMers from Royale and Frontrow offered me "money making opportunities" ang lakas nila mag pitch parang product knowledge but when I asked these simple questions di na makasagot and told me that everything will be answered inside their office by their "top millionaires" Ito mga simple tanong ko na dapat alam nila.

1) where do they pay their taxes?

2) how are their taxes deducted?

Eh diba 32% na ang tax rate cut natin last year pa!

They also don't know when is the frequency, date or tax bracket they're in.

Simply put, mlm people only know how to entice you and get you to pay up since they're you're upline pero siguro kung nag file ka sa BIR na ipa backcheck sila malamang mahuhuli mga yan for sure. "ano form ng pinagkikitaan dapat nagbabayad ng buwis weather regular job or freelancer or raket raket."

Of all the things that have been posted regarding MLM being a pyramiding scheme and what not..Have any of you really tried to research and found any good MLM that pays their taxes duly through BIR??? Cause i did and honestly speaking all the members of this MLM are professional. The products they are distributing are of high quality and are really phenomenal. They have research studies as well both here and in the US to backup all their claims about their products. Also not just local celebrities use their products even the high profile celebrities in hollywood uses them.

Bottom line if you want to be associated with an MLM or even join an MLM you should do your due diligence at wag basta maniniwala sa sinsabi ng mga mg ppromote ng kung anu pa mang marketing plan. meron tayung sariling pag iisip and hopefully ginagamit natin to bago tayu mag decision.

Saw saw ako dito :)

I am 100% against Pyramiding scheme (who isn't), unfortunately Networking became Synonymous with Pyramiding or "Ponzi" scheme. Unfortunate for those real legit Multi Level Marketing, which I frankly do not like personally but it is not bad or a racket.

1. I know that for a long time "Direct selling" companies have done very well in our country, Avon for example is one, there are also other mostly cosmetics companies who were doing well, Tupperware din diba?

The concept is you recruit people from the community and sell the products, and they get a commission. They will of course need you to put in a deposit when you first start, because you don't have credit from the company. But once you are a regular agent, your credit can increase. You get commission from your sales. So the company itself is paying taxes to the government for the sales (Vat, corporate income tax, etc.), but the commission you get you are supposed to declare to BIR on your own, as you are not really a regular employee of the company. Tama diba?

2. Now take the same Direct selling system and just add multi level bit, wherein you can recruit your own "sales team", then your reward is basically bigger sales under your team. Tama parin diba? You and your team (levels under you) will get commission, and the same thing happens with BIR, you are supposed to declare it yourselves.

3. The problem lang talaga is that the Ponzi scam element came in, at first, they started this quite ways back, asking for US$ without any real product to sell, that set off alarm bells, but my GF said no harm in trying, so gave her $100 and of course after a few months, wala na yung $100 niya.

Then they started doing with products, but still with the Ponzi scam element, you should easily detect this if the "Buy in" is way way higher than the products in their "starter kit", let us say P10,000 for a P5,000 worth of products. Also you are not stupid naman diba? I remember a lady asking during an Amway seminar.... how much is the Toothpaste, the speaker said something example P200 and the lady said, ang mahal naman, kasi yung Colgate, eto lang yung presyo. I'm not saying Amway is a scam, I'm just saying that the price of the product you will sell will already have your commission in the price (of course), so if it is multilevel the cost will be quite high. My point... don't think that if you paid P10,000 for starter kit, and you got P10,000 worth of products, that okay na.... check naman if the price of a comparable product is the same or not.

4. Bottom line, rule of thumb para sa akin, is if the scheme is to get the best sales number, and not the most number of down levels you get. Pag may pressure na mag recruit ka, then might be a good idea to walk away. If you can earn by selling by yourself without needing to recruit others, then alam mo not really mangagancho yung system/organization.

Very much open to be corrected if my ideas are wrong of course :)

Actually i dont want to comment further about this but i feel im obliged..this is what one of my mentor said.one of the well known and succesfull motivational speaker in the phil..let us first define network marketing. Acording to Wikepedia, d structure is designed to create a marketing & sales force by compensating d promoters of d company's products not only for d sales they personally generate, but also for d sales of other promoters they introduced to d company, creating a downline of distributors & a hierarchy with multi levels of compensation

How would we able to determine if a company is a pyramiding comPany or not?

Rule 1. Once you hand over d money, there must b legitimate exchange of products & services. Remember, you are buying the products, not the business opurtunity. The question we need to ask is, "Did you receive the value of what you paid for?"

If your answer is "No" what are you buying into? Are you buying into d product or d business opurtunity? Remember d rule in marketing, products need to move or no one else will get paid. Beware of d companies or individuals dat put so much emphasis on d business opurtunity rather dan marketing d products

Rule 2: Always think dat you are d latest person to join d business & ask yourself this question: "What if you were never able to recruit anyone else to join d business, would you lose money?"

If your answer is "Yes", you better run & hold on to your wallet. Stay away or you will lose money. Normally these people will use high pressure selling techniques in order to manipulate you to cough out your hard-earned money.

If your answer is no to either of these questions, a red flag must be waved immediately to warn others dat some people may lose their money in d company

@shadow555 is therefore correct when he said dat there must be no pressure to recruit pra mabawi mo ung capital na nilagay mo...pero kung sa marketing plan plng nila, u can be able to get or even surpassed d capital dat you put into d business, then dat is legal and dat is a good company.

Peace to everyone!

Ok. When do they pay their taxes then? Since all of you are in the same boat you are in the same employment category therefore you all pay your taxes on or before this due date? What BIR form do you sign up when you pay your monthly tax? If you don't know any of these then honestly...ewan ko nalang.

Dapat dito shark ka talaga, willing to prey on others. 2 out of 10 samin dito na nag try na tropa nag pursue at nag succeed doon. Nothing against them, kaya lang talaga nila yung ganung way ng pag earn. Sya naka ferrari, camaro, maserati and a whole lot more in the expense of others. Just saying.

We are an eCommerce company offering an eCommerce platform and Drop Shipping service. We want to integrate the MLM concept into our marketing system without having a negative image of an MLM company, wherein only the people on top earn or that products are overpriced... and we want to get rid of the usual hard selling tactics of some MLM companies. The service that we offer is an online store where you can upload your own products or select products from the company's partner merchants. The unique feature we have in our platform is that each store owner can re-sell each other's products...basically, I can sell what you're selling and you can sell what i'm selling. What's interesting here is we will have local celebrities and athletes having their own stores as well. So this will make an ordinary online seller to become business partners with these celebrities and athletes, giving them a chance to sell celebrity products or have these personalities sell products on their stores.

So what makes us different from other companies using the MLM system? Members are not tied up with a set of products to market. Even other MLM companies can use the eCommerce platform for product sales.

I guess I am asking for opinions on what you think of this concept. Id also like to hear critics of MLM on how theyd want an MLM company to be like, so we can tweak our program to be as neutral as it can be.

This also I find questionable, IF Gates and Buffet REALLY wanted or were in favor of network marketing a long time ago then why haven't I heard any MLM companies they were in or they are endorsing? The MLM "business" has a face brand and it's Donald Trump but we all know that Trump is just full of BS!
