NYC, still my favorite city to visit

Would love to go back here. experienced winter here last december 2017 with my family. a few storms hit NY and NJ when we were there for more than 2 weeks. Got stranded in JFK for almost one day. got lucky when the weather was clear in the evening. a day after, another snow storm and the drain pipes in the terminal broke and they have to shut it down.

 

Yung tipong akala mo na sa movies exaggerted na nilalamig sila kahit wala snow, nang nandun ka na eh parang iisipin mo na di pala sila OA. totoo pala na malamig. lalo na yung windchill. maganda magikot sa NY ng winter din ng maexperience mo ang lamig. kaso need mo pumasok ng mga stores kahit wala ka bibilhin kasi sa lamig, need mo painit sa loob. want to visit this city during fall or spring. lalo na spring, yan daw maganda mag ikot sa city lalo na sa central park.

Bars around the Meatpacking District are really good.  Bars around Time Square are a bit overrated and expensive.

Found new york to be overrated but still worth a visit at least once. Try street food, pizza, broadway etc. Then you're good

I agree. More than 10 years na since may last visit. I wanna see it again.

A week or two is nice but more than that not for me, unless you work there.  A lot of good resto and entertainment.

You need a lot of cash reserves if you want to enjoy New York for a longer period.

Grimaldi’s Pizza.  Are they still open.  A good place to eat after walking the Brooklyn bridge from Manhattan.  Those were the days.

Definitely, specially in downtown Manhattan.

Hopefully I can go back here soon, i have only been here when I was in my early teens.

The Most memorable place for me was Madison Square Garden and I was able to watch a couple of NBA games, Knicks vs Bulls and Knicks vs Lakers.

Been here for more than a month now. staying at my sisters house. grabe an lamig panahon, pero di masyado nagssnow gaya ng dati naming punta way back 2017 and 2018.
