Whatever, this is a forum where views, facts, allegations are exchanged. Again, what you and your fellow haters are raising are all allegations. I am stating facts that Marcos won the 1986 elections and was never convicted. If you can't accept these facts, that is your problem, not mine. Again, good luck with your cause. LOL.

Marcos won the 1986 Snap Elections? Yes and no. Depende yan kung fan ka ni Cory Aquino or ni Ferdinand Marcos.

Eto istorya nyan. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. ;)

1. The COMELEC was counting the votes for the presidential elections.

2. The counting stopped because computer analysts and tabulators in PICC walked out of their posts. They were counting votes for COMELEC. They walked out because their superiors are manipulating the election results in favor or Marcos.

3. This "walk-out" caused the election's tabulation to be officially stopped.

4. The count? COMELEC had Ferdinand Marcos ahead by more than 1 million votes.

5. The count? NAMFREL had Aquino leading by almost 800,000 votes.

6. The rule at the time was that the body who has the authority to declare a winner was Batasang Pambansa.

7. Batasang Pambansa was dominated by Marcos loyalists.

8. So in February 1986, Batasang Pambansa declared Marcos as the winner of the "halted" elections.

9. In March 1986, the same Batasang Pambansa signed a petition nullifying the declaration of Ferdinand Marcos as president of the Republic of the Philippines and named Cory Aquino as president.

10. This became more official when hundreds of other nations, including the United States, recognized Aquino's government and leadership as legit.

So ang nakalimutan mong ikwento sa amin, sir... eh yung pagkapanalo ni Marcos nung 1986 was "nullified" by the same Batasang Pambansa who previously declared him as winner.

Easy to nullify? Masyado ka naman bilib kay Cory. Akala ko ba hindi sya magaling? And yet, in such a short time, you think she could manipulate Batasang Pambansa?

It took Marcos many years to take control of critical government agencies and make them do his bidding.

It seems Marcos was the weakling then.

ibaloi NPA well kung cno man sumira eh may kanya kanya silang dahilan..

Before, this was a monument to a dictatorship. Now it is a symbol of injustice. It should remain there so we never forget how this one man ruined a nation."

Aquino won that election? Hahaha! The last time I checked, Aquino lost that election in both the Namfrel and Comelec counts. LOL.

Do they (comelec and namfrel) have the power to declare the winner?

Besides my source refute your claim that leading si Makoy sa Namfrel count as shown below.

NAMFREL Tally

Candidate Party Votes Corazon C. Aquino UNIDO - PDP-LABAN 7,502,601 Ferdinand E. Marcos KBL 6,787,556 NAMFREL, International Observer Delegation: NAMFREL completed virtually all of its count on Monday, February 17, 1986; with a total of 69.03 percent of the precincts tabulated, NAMFREL reported Mrs. Aquino with 7,502,601 votes and Mr. Marcos with 6,787,556 votes, a difference of 715,045.

I agree. The Philippine version of Mt. Rushmore.

National Citizens' Movement
for Free Elections
(NAMFREL)
Volume 2, No.1
February 25, 2011
Jose S. Concepcion, Jr.
EDSA Revolution will always remind me of the individual acts of heroism and courage of many ordinary citizens,
who I regard as the unsung heroes under the banner of NAMFREL.
During the 1986 Snap Election, NAMFREL harnessed hundreds of thousands of volunteers nationwide to come
out and protect the ballot boxes and conducted the Operation Quick Count. NAMFREL provided a constructive
and positive way of action for every Filipino who were concerned about the future of our country. The results of
the Snap Election in the NAMFREL OQC center in De La Salle Greenhills, showed that Cory Aquino won with
7,502,601 votes compared to the 6,787,556 for former President Marcos. This record has since been enshrined
at the NAMFREL National Tally Board and also one of the mementoes treasured at the De La Salle Greenhills,
together with all the Election Results from 1986 to 2010 Elections.

On the day of the election, NAMFREL guarded ballot boxes and tried to get a rapid tally of the results in order to prevent irregularities. A team of United States observers, which included a joint congressional delegation, issued a mild criticism of electoral abuses, but individual members expressed shock and indignation: Senator Richard Lugar claimed that between 10 and 40 percent of the voters had been disenfranchised by the removal of their names from registration rolls. The results tabulated by the government's Commission on Elections (COMELEC) showed Marcos leading, whereas NAMFREL figures showed a majority for the Aquino-Laurel ticket.

Hahahaha! I almost fell off my seat laughing while reading this. Speaking of bias, you are quoting a guy who became Cory's trade secretary. Hahahaha!

WOW!

Who cares about the Philippone Travel Guide? My question is if it has any use. If the bust of Marcos has no use, then there is also no use for that Aquino statue.

This convoluted post does not even remotely discredit my source. Pano ba yan?

May ganun? Eh di wow!

So tell me, how is my source inconsistent? Because it does not agree with your source? Just because your source does not agree with my source doesn't mean it is inconsistent. Your source is an opinion. My source gives the numbers that prove that Marcos won the 1986 elections.

My source? My source is namfrel mismo...si JoCon pa ang nagsabi. Official statement from namfrel

In short the what is being stated in the article you posted does not jive even with what's written from the reference of the one who wrote it.

My question in the post that you quoted was "Bakit ni isa sa kanila wala sa kulungan?" The conviction was overturned by the SC.

Asa.

Another convoluted and nonsensical post. Another post which does not, not even remotely, discredit my source. Gibberish.

Sinong source ba sinasabi mo? Yung link na pinost mo dito about the NAMFREL and COMELEC counts? Si Tanodra ba yun? Who the hell is he? Care to share?

Will he hold a candle to Raissa Robles? Or Beth Day-Romulo?

The way I see it, it is you who does not understand the essence of my source. Stop projecting.

Yeah sure. A guy who became the first trade secretary of Aquino. He really is a credible source.

Speaking of projecting...its none other but you.

Wag mo rin kalimutan na dun sa ipinost mo sinulat din na may disclosure about jocon being trade secretary of Cory and yet you posted it to support your argument.

Unfortunately you didn't do your due dilligence ayun ang nangyare ...nadale

The OFFICIAL vote count by the NAMFREL(after Marcos left Malacañang and went directly to Paoay, Ilocos Norte. Yes, NOT Hawaii) which was headed by Jose Concepcion, Jr. (rewarded later by Mrs. Aquino to become her Trade Secretary) are as follows:

Ferdinand E. Marcos: 10, 635, 458 votes

Corazon C. Aquino: 9, 853, 456 votes
