Sauron was purchased by an American business man to be his personal protection... he returned to the Phil a month ago for re-training and he recently competed for PUDA Level 2 last April 17... He'll be back to the US in a few weeks! Sauron is indeed a special dog... I had the priviledge of catching him once -- such a toughie! one simple trivia about Sauron -- he was onced featured in a TV showing the protection dog in the Phil... notta101 Posted May 4, 2005 Share Posted May 4, 2005 sir, ito lang ang nakita kong dog related e, kaya dito na lang ako magtanong kung pwede. okay lang bang pakainin ng pork or bones ang aso kong chow chow, sa mga dog food walang pork e, puro beef, lamb or chicken. nagsawa na sa dog food ang hirap pakainin, sinusubuan na nga pag minsan e, pero pag pinagluto ko ng malalking buto, kinakain naman. ok lang ba yun? may nagsabi din sa akin na ipagluto ko ng ulo ng manok na may bawang lang, tama ba yun? pwede rin ba samahan rice para may carbo?thanks. This is actually the first time I've heard that someone had a hard time training a lab since is a playful dog and have instinct will to serve his master... Training a lab for obedience exercises is no different in training a Golden Retriever, GSD, Dobs or any other breed... First thing you have to understand is... In training any dog, bonding is very much important... No dog will follow you if he doesn't trust you... and what better way to bond with your dog is to be with him, play with him, enjoy a walk and talk to him.. Post your question on what exercises would you like to teach your dog and let's see if I can further help.. I'd also refer you to visit Dog-tracker.com and try to check out discussion on training dogs... Quote Link to comment
