Starbucks and Seattle's (in that order). None other.

Among fast food coffee, best coffee is Mister Donut followed by McDonald's and Burger King

Figaro ....Gateway, cubao. watching the passengers go from one train to the next. amusing and relaxing.

Figaro .....SM-annex. ok for secret meetings. (good coffee and food, of course)

CheeseCake etc .....Morato. simple lang. quiet place. this is where one should really do assignments, study, etc. and not pretend studying at a Starbucks where a ton of people will distract you.

CheeseCake etc.... Podium. kinda cramped place, but peaceful. sometimes Podium's free wifi works, and you're in luck!

Encounter_doc is quite right with a number of Starbucks places he has recommended. I too drop by some of them either going north or south for business or vacation as a norm.

I tend to drive by Starbucks Commonwealth Ave for my early morning black tall regular drip. If the place is too full during afternoons or evenings, I also go to Mocha Blends, Royale Place which is opposite Ever Gotesco Mall.

True, EHC's coffee is good.

If there's a substance I am addicted to it's caffeine. I would go insane if my caffeine level drop.

I have tried Starbucks, Mocha Blends, Coffee Nook, Coffee Bean, Coffee Experience, Figaro, Seattle's, Cheesecake, Dunkins. Mister Donut, Chowking etc.....

..but the best for me is Mocha Blends. My next target - Gloria Jeans......

Bos Coffee - Philippine origins blend.

Made primarily from Barako Beans, the taste is different from the other robusta/arabica blends.

For coffee, UCC is the best.

If you want good food to go with your coffee, Baang Cafe, morato.

I finally got a chance to try Kopi Roti on T. Morato and on Katipunan Extension over the weekend. It's true, their brewed coffee really does taste better than most of the other cafes on Morato. The Kopi Bun is really good, too, and for P35 for a big serving, I'm certainly not complaining. :D

absolutely! delifrance has a kopi-bun wannabe, but it just pales in comparison.

whenever i pass by morato during daytime, i make it a point to pass by kopi roti. (even better after a massage at adjacent sunyare.)

trivia: the milk in their coffee is not local, but imported from sg. they said they tried using local evap milk, but the flavor is just not the same.
