Mukhang wala pa ring 3 good solid reasons why they want BBM as President.

Ako naman either Ping or Isko, maayus sila sumagot at may concrete plan silang binibigay.

I totally agree with you.

5. Mga sumunod sa influncers mula soc-med and other online platforms.

For the sake of healthy discussion, tinananong ko sila kung ano mga platform and priorities ni BBM pero lagi lng sinasagot is "unity".

P.S.

I'm not endorsing anyone here, just posting my observations based on personal conversations with real people around me.

Its easy, cant you all see ?Pinoys love underdogs, bbm markets himself as laging inaapi, laging pinagsasabihan ng kung ano2. Never talks back. That will endear him to most( as shown sa survey) kung si Ping/Isko sana kandidato ng liberal pede sana. Leni won’t just cut it masyadong pilit.. Well Personality based ang election dito sa atin. Dont give me the platform/track record BS.. yan dapat baguhin ng bawat Pinoy.

Yes, Ping and Isko would have been strong if they made the tandem even with Leni. But Ping doesn't want it. After all, he's got nothing/very little to loose coz he got the financial support from Gocongwei. Ikso is also a little too ambitious: he doesn't want VP position after some offered it to him.

Tama ka diyan. Even though I root for Isko, dahil sa ginawa niyang pagbabago sa Manila, I still think he should have run for VP instead. Or he should have teamed up with Sara D, as his president.

Hahahaha it's really funny.

I think the reason why many Filipinos will vote for BBM ( according to survey) is that inspite of all the negative things they are saying about the Marcos regime, and because of their experience with the Aquino/ Dilawan administration, they believe they are better off during the Martial Law days

From reading the comments,

I'm proud of you guys! Tbh, satin palang nagsisimula un pagbabago at scale.

With one of the good ones being Vico Sotto (in my opinion).

Some of these boomers & gen X are still busy with their greedy ways & cold wars, while we will end up sweeping up their mess (climate change).

Alot of the GMs here have their moral compass right on point. And when you are honest with yourself, you know who are the right candidates, albeit not a perfect one.

Still, there is alot of things to do and alot of Bullshit that needs fixing. God bless PH.

dilawan vs martial law days ? konting reserach lang kasi para makita how low we got during martial law. edsa started the regrowth of the economy hanggang kay pinoy. This is pure MIND CONDITIONING ( kaya nga tinaggal ung 400 + videos spreading disinformation about martial law ).

now look at our economic performance ( compare lang stock market / foreign borrowing and debt / foreign policy )dahil kay digong . man pabagsak lahat !

I prefer Ping or Leni

Definitely Kiko for VP though.

I want results. Leni has results. Ping has results. While I fundamentally disagree with Leni on some social issues, I believe she has the capability to increase the nation's middle class. I have almost zero disagreements with Ping. Either one is fine with me.

it's easy to vote for leni when you see how much work on the ground she has already accomplished, given all the obstacles she had to face with a hostile administration. That alone tells you how  good a leader she will be if has the whole government backing her on her platforms.

Isko and Ping are close contenders in my book, but I am hopeful leni will win it all

VP kiko and Bello are good choices when it comes to platforms and experience

Boboto ka ba para kay Bong Bong ?

Sandiganbayan records show that former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Jr and sister Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos were beneficiaries of the Swiss foundations earlier found by the anti-graft court as illegally created and maintained.

The Sandiganbayan’s 5th Division convicted former First Lady Imelda Marcos of 7 counts of graft for creating and maintaining 7 private foundations in Switzerland while holding government positions from 1968 to 1986. The court found that the foundations were used to earn from investments and interests to benefit Imelda, the late strongman Ferdinand Marcos, and their beneficaries.

All 3 Marcos children – Bongbong, Imee, and  Irene – were specifically named as beneficiaries of the Trinidad Foundation and the Xandy Foundation.

“In the regulations of Trinidad Foundation dated August 28, 1970 signed by both Markus Geel and Ms Marcos in Zurich, Ms Marcos was named as the first beneficiary during her lifetime while her children, Imelda (Imee), Ferdinand Jr (Bongbong) and Irene were named as second beneficiaries in equal shares,” the Sandiganbayan said.

In the case of the Xandy Foundation, the court said Imelda and Ferdinand wrote by hand that “the said spouses were named as the first beneficiaries, the surviving spouse as the second beneficiary, and the Marcos children as the third beneficiaries.”

In some of the foundations, only Imelda and Ferdinand were the beneficiaries; in the rest, Imelda was the sole beneficiary. Lead prosecutor Rey Quilala said that the Marcoses earned an estimated $200 million from the scheme, or P10.6 billion in the foreign exchange rate as of posting.

Closing accounts and transferring assets

The court found that the Marcos couple employed the scheme of closing foundations then opening them under different names, with the assets just transferred to the new foundations.

For example, the couple dissolved the Vibur Foundation on March 18, 1986, and then opened in 1989 a securities account for the said foundation. Ferdinand Marcos was named as beneficial owner of the account with number 467857-5.

However, “the ‘Classification note: Confidential’ signed by G. Raber on behalf of the Vibur Foundation, dated September 30, 1988, reference to said account no. 467857-5 named Marcos family as the owner.”

“Though named as a foundation, the evidence shows that these entities were put up primarily for the entrepreneurial activity of opening bank accounts and deposits, transferring funds, earning interests and even profit from investment, for the private benefit of the Marcos family as beneficiaries,” said the Sandiganbayan’s decision penned by by Associate Justice Maryann Corpus-Mañalac, with concurrences from Associate Justices Rafael Lagos and Maria Theresa Mendoza-Arcega.

Bongbong is protesting his defeat in the 2016 vice presidential race before the Supreme Court, while Imee is running in the 2019 senatorial elections. Graft convict Imelda, who faces a sentence of 6 years and one month to 11 years in prison for each of the 7 counts,  is running run for Ilocos Norte governor, the current position of eldest child Imee.

The Philippine justice system allows Imelda to appeal the court ruling, enjoy provisional liberty, and even run for office until the guilty verdict becomes final and excutory.

Integrity of the documents

The Philippine government obtained the documents from both local and foreign sources, as well as from a sweep of Malacañang when the Marcos family was foced to flee the Palace and go into exile following the EDSA People Power Revolution in 1986.

“The validity of the documents, presented and offered in evidence by the prosecution, passed the scrutiny of the court,” the Sandiganbayan said.

The court gave a lot of weight to the fact that some of the documents were obtained directly from the Swiss banks by former Zurich prosecutor Peter Cosandey.

“Full faith and credit must be given on these documents as they were officially transmitted in pursuance of the Decision rendered by Peter Cosandey dated December 6, 1989, and affirmed by the Swiss Federal Supreme Court in its decision dated December 21, 1990,” the Sandiganbayan said.

The late Solicitor General Frank Chavez was key to this litigation, standing as witness to corroborate the documents from Switzerland and Cosandey.

“The flow chart identified and marked by Chavez as Exhibit EE graphically demonstrates the creation, collapse, and merging of these foundations towards the design of the Marcos couple to hide their true ownership of these accounts,” said the Sandiganbayan.

Imelda was separately charged at the Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC) for illegally stashing foreign currencies in Swiss accounts in violation of Central Bank laws, but the court acquitted her of 32 counts of dollar salting in 2008.

The judge in that case, Judge Silvino Pampilo Jr, considered the Swiss documents as hearsay because Cosandey did not testify, only Chavez. This acquittal was upheld by the Supreme Court Third Division in June this year.

Cosandey also didn’t testify before the Sandiganbayan, but the justices of the anti-graft court nevertheless gave merit to the documents for “having been authenticated in accordance with Swiss-established legal procedure.”

In the words of the ponente, Justice Mañalac, “It should be emphasized likewise that since public interest, public policy and the nation’s history are deeply rooted in these cases, substantial justices demands that the documents identified by the witnesses, who testified based on record, be considered, unbridled by technicalities.” – Rappler.com

Can all those who say they will vote for Marcos Jr. not just say "BBM"? People voting for Leni, Ping, or Isko, have enumerated their reasons why they will vote for their candidates and are grounded with facts, actual accomplishments? Let's level the playing field by also stating what Marcos Jr.'s accomplishments are.

If you ask these people why they will vote for BBM wala silang masabing credible answers or they just simply refuse to answer. There is really nothing there to mention. That is what  we call blind cult or fanaticism mentality. There is really nothing positive there to talk about, no track record in governance, social responsibilty, etc. He became a 2 or 3? term Governor of Ilocos Norte, obviously, teritoryo nila yon, but Ilocos Norte is still the same, hindi nga naging 1st class province. As a senator, wala ka rin makitang accomplishment, just a fence sitter.. Now in his campaigns, he talks mostly about unity, the "Kilusan" he refers to that he plans to revive, what his father established as the Kilusan Bagong Lipunan or KBL, as a one party platform that led to the dictatorship . How can you unite the people, you dont even want to be scrutinized in public debates which he refuse to participate. In social media, they keep on bashing the the pink phenomena thru fake news, which they see as the greatest threat to them, not Isko, Paquiao or Lacson, instead of talking about a real platform and be truthful and explain to the people the facts surrounding their hidden wealth, unpaid estate taxes now amounting to P200Bn plus and atrocities during martial law. There is not even an apology coming from the Marcoses.  Iniiba nila ang historical narrative about martial law, claiming its the golden era in Phil history which is absolutely false. Mag kaka people power ba in 1986 at patalsikin si Marcos kung golden era yun? Obvious naman hindi. Nalubog nga tayo sa utang due to so many unpaid loans the Marcos govt and cronies took. Isa na yan yung Bataan Nuclear Plant na walang silbi. Tama na Sobra na. He claims he obtained a college degree in Oxford, which the University denied. He was living in total luxury, always flying first class on travels to Europe, calls the economy class a cage or something like that.  You dont even see him visibly involve in humanitarian works during calamities, typhoons, covid pandemic, etc. He just wanted to become President, he has no permanent job(why should he work, eh daming pera),that we know of before he even become a politician, its the easy thing to do, just travelling around like a royalty. He wanted to become President to reclaim the glory and power the Marcoses use to enjoy and escape accountability of the so many cases pending in courts, pending claims on human rights abuses during Martial law, hidden wealth, unpaid taxes due to the govt, etc. Theres still plenty unpleasant things to talk about about his man, So Im wondering why, and its mind boggling, why should people vote for this man, BBM? Do you really think the welfare of the people and this country is his priority and goal or its just pure rhetorics under a false disguise and falsehoods? If people dont learn from history, we are doomed again to repeat it.

wag sana silang stupid. Stupidity is knowing  the truth , seeing  evidence of the truth but still believing the LIE.
