we have the pastry shop thread... we have the chocolates thread...
we even have the go nuts thread... seems like we dont have the most
famous of all the cakes - DA CHOCOLATE CAKE!

maybe its the season. chocolate cakes and cookies are all over the place.
just this lunch, i had one. got it from a bazaar in nbc tent.
gosh, its really heavenly! whats my name again? harharhar!

the hunt for the best chocolate cake is now on.
share your ideas. your secret suppliers and fave cake shops.
lets compare notes and share secrets!
tell us how yummy and good that slice of choco cake is!
(maybe we can cap this with a choco cake tasting eb! hahahaha!!!)

here's some of my must taste.....
* "death by chocolate" by Jack Loft..........

* "choco chips" by brownies unlimited (pseudo chocolate kasi brownies :P )

* "chocolate cake" by FIGARO


also...count me in sa EB kung meron man!!! :upside:

1. better than sex cake from a bakeshop somewhere in mkt
(will have to check the name with my friend)

2. super moist choco cake from sugarhouse

3. choco round cake from red ribbon

the chocolate dome cake in that place next to coffee bean in greenbelt (eerrrmmm... i know its owned by the owners of figaro too)...

actually any choco cake...wag lang yung mga cheap ones from the neighborhood bakeries...hinde ko malasahan yung choco... :lol:

Mrs Polly is the name of the chocolate cake maker and shell magallanes is their only makati outlet and Green mart near connecticut is the greenhills outlet :)

UCC's Chocolate Fudge is also good, although it's a bit dry. But then again, I didn't really give it much chance to 'melt' a little becuase I was in a hurry to finish kaya fresh from the fridge pa sya. :D

sh*t! that belgian choklit sounds mouth waterin! san po yan habang bagong sweldo pa ta pwede magindulge! tsaka pasko kaya alang diet diet!! we only live once!!! try ko rin ung sa magallanes maybe later!!! :upside:

OT...if ur into belgian choklit then try mo rin guy lian (praline shells)...unfortunately medyo expensive & sa duty free lang meron!

The chocolate cake from Red Ribbon is my all time favorite. Not that expensive too :D

The chocolate cake of Goodies and Sweets (with caramel sauce on the side) and Figaro are also good.

ms. c3, there's a goodies and sweets in greenhills (the new parking as soon as you turn left from mister donut) and also at the podium (the ground floor near holland tulips). i think they have other branches but it's these two that i'm sure of.

i like hungrypac as well.
not too expensive.
a good alternative when u're craving
for a sosyal na melt in your mouth choco cake.

dont we just love choco cakes!!!!
