hap-chan and its various incarnations (or franchises for that matter) and gloria maris. so far, for both, ok naman lahat ng natry namin. for hapchan, i love their steamed fish! hehe. parang nde isda! with ginger and pagkadami-daming fried bawang.

pero syempre, in our opinion, we look for places with good dimsum because it gets the job done na for us :)

dami pang chinese resto dyan, i find it a joy when me and my girl actually find someplace new tulad nung isa sa galle at isa sa podium, di ko na nga lang maalala yung names nung places.

of course, if u really really wanna go chinese, it's best to hit the streets of chinatown pero be ready for disinterested waiters and make sure u have your chinese friend in tow to make sure everything goes smoothly.

madami e!

big bowl noodles (masangkay) - beef fried rice

tasty (masangkay) - pork chop rice

sincerity (nueva) - fried chicken and oyster cake

david's tea house (t. mapua) - all of their dimsum dishes

sze chuan house (roxas blvd) - spicy fried rice, sweet & sour pork, broccoli

and whenever i'm in any chinese resto i usually check out these dishes first:

-sweet and sour pork or fish fillet
-beef steak chinese style
-fried rice
-broccoli in garlic sauce (or mixed veggies)
-shrimp dishes
-dishes with x.o. sauce (if there are)

ginugutom na ako!!!

i like the hole in the wall chinese restos in binondo -- delicious, tasty, manosa, sincerity, etc etc... authentic! at affordable.

for "mainstream" chinese cuisine, theres always hap/haf chan/chang, theres super bowl and big buddha, north park, leching and gloria maris...

i like chinese fried rice of various kinds, sweet and sour pork, steamed fish and dimsum :)
