matic na siguro pwede naman tipid driving hehehe yon nga lang naku panay busina sa likod abotin ko but it seems if you do tipid driving in a matic you may be able to save and get high mileage also yon nga lang make sure may aircon para the windows are close so the horns would not sound so loud hehehe

one can have both as offered by some vehicles like select mitsu models with tiptronic transmission/gear box, the endeavor being one of them.

manual. sawa na ko sa matic eh. all my cars are matic.

i prefer manual transmission over the automatic...

reasons:

1. matic cars consumes more fuel

2. manual cars gives you more power and lets you feel the rush

3. there's no way to jump start a matic car

4. there's a tendency that you loose your skill for driving manual cars if you stayed a long time with automatic

5. engine breaks are not applicable to matic cars, this is very essential if you loose your brakes.

6. matic cars cost more in terms of transmission repairs and services.

I will always chose a manual shift for any engine that's below 1.6cc if the car has a 2.0cc engine...automatic is ok. Sobra yung power loss with automatics eh...

i prefer driving matics now that im older. my car has a pretty powerful engine anyway, so malakas pa rin yung hatak kahit na hindi nagc-clutch. besides,mas pogi points pag matic, pang-mayaman. hahahhaa
