Sir,

PMDC - Philippine MIning Development Corporation
CITIC - China International Trust and INvestment Coporation
CC - CAll Center ( analyst kasi )

PMDC has a melting and processing plant in the area . Mahirap na trabaho talaga. MIne related and community outreach particularly sa MT Diwata and Mt Diwalwal we've made some progress over the last few years . but naki halo ang politics kaya ngayun nag kagulo . Hanggang ngayun the roads are miserable as ever lalo na lately because of the heavy rains in the region. less ore extraction sila ngayun , more on carbon - pulp processing para delivery.

rey calo is based in butuan . I used to live in Nonoc Island. for those of you who are familiar , PHILNICO used to operate one of the biggest nickel refinery in the phil.

Im a analyst with a call center as well.

Which area are you setting up your Gold site?

Ay, sorry... PMDC pala ay Phil. Mining akala ko Philex...
So may smelting and processing plant sa magulong lugar na yun?
hehehe tough job talaga... So CIP pala... diba problem sa Environment?
Hahaha Nonoc, matagal ka dun Bro? Lungkot dun diba :thumbsdownsmiley: , habang natatanaw mo ang Surigao mainland...
Pero di ka nagtrabaho sa PHILNICO?

Ako I worked and managed the exploration of the whole of Mindanao,
based in Butuan for Climax Arimco now Oceanagold Phils Inc.
Medyo pinatigil na ako sa field kasi daw very expensive na daw ako sa field...
so sa Makati base na lang ako...

Nakapagtrabaho din ako sa Dinagat Island... for NRDC a long time ago...

We are developing/constructing the Didipio Project in Nueva VIzcaya...
soon to be a big Gold Copper Mine in the Philippines

Sir,

Di naman delikado as compared to the previous process - mercury and cyanide . Meron na Smelting and proccessing sa diwalwal.
NRDC was the predecessor of PMDC , the name was change by GMA last 2007 thru EO 636.

Matagal ako sa NONoc , i am what you call a Mining brat , i grew up there . My pops used to be a proj area manager before it was completely shut down early 90's

Re your current proj ... hows the CDO coming ? i had that problem with gov ecleo last year but we were able to settle it.

Yung CDO Bro?... you are referring to the Cease and Desist Order?
Wala na yun Bro... nag rule na ang Court of Appeals on that on our favor eh...
Iba naman ang strategy nila... yung Withdrawal of Support of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan sa Project
Actually yang CDO offshoot yan ng away ng National Government thru the DENR and the local Provincial Governor
Tungkol sa quarry taxes... whether we are to pay quarry tax or not, sabi ng DENR - NO, sabi ng NV Governor - YES
kami ipit ngayon... but we are taking the national government's position so NO quarry tax payments...
eh for a fact we are not quarrying naman eh... we are pushing dirt from one place to another to prepare our plan site

Sir,

you might to speak directly with Regional Director. if you are going to wait for the response of the national government who might or might not rule in your favor , the deciding factor there is always the PENRO or the RED , like i said , it will be a showdown of politics when it comes to projects like those. THe provincial government will insist that you quarrying since you are moving soil from one location to another and you are operating on a A.N.D area wherein the National Government has less mandate. Provincial will fight for that tax because it is an revenue generated income that will not be forwarded to the NAtional level. it goes directly to the provincial tresurers office. what we did was we did not pursue the tax, as mandated by MGB we made it to something else. there is a precedent on this , have your Legal department check the ongoing Nickel project in agusan del sur.

sir,

re the last statement , yes , i also helped planned and setup the security of the site and the project , me and four others , particularly with Diwalwal . if you have heard the latest news , thru our effrots we manage to have 1 company assigned near the field office and the processing area and last weekend our agreement with the provincial governement is already in effect to place a a PC / CAFGU cadre in the area and will be launched feb or mar next year . and if things get worse , there is a brigade assigned in mongkayo to reinforced the units in mt diwalwal.

we also have a very special arrangement with the brgys in the area. if you know what i mean :-)
