Bro, before buying an accessory, i-check mo muna if proper size and fit yung bike sayo. Most body aches and pains are due to improper size and fit. Another thing, check your gearing. Baka naka heavy gear ka all the way. Isa pa is how long have you been biking. Baka you are still adapting.

Sir Mach 83 is right. bike sizing and fit are very important. Make sure yung height ng seat post mo ay nasa tamang distance (measure by using your arm, dapat yung kilikili mo is on the saddle then using your middle finger reach for the center of your crankset - ganun dapat ang length).

Thanks sa reply guys

Will try to check kung tama ba ang height ng sit sa akin

Started biking again since last year December from a long hiatus no biking dahil sa work pero never ko naman na encounter ang knee pains noon

Mountain Bike

Pag ako lang mag isa pang fitness lang paikot-ikot lang ako around the neighborhood for two hours

Competitive or plain cardio purposes? Trails or pavement? Urban? Or just showcasing? Budget? You do your own research via internet. Also, ask fellow bikers. For sure and based from their experiences, you won't go wrong. Cheers!

Check mo muna fitting then. If I were you and budget permitting, I'd buy a new MTB na lang. You can get a good model for 20K, for recreational purposes. Plus, if you plan to take it more seriously, you can upgrade. Aside from the bike fit and positioning, take it easy din muna.

where can i get a good bike fit? TIA

guys, which one is better mountain bikes or road race bikes?

thanks.

if you like speed, go for road bikes. if you like naman adventure or off-road, go for mountain bike.

either is good, depende talaga sa trip at kung saan mo gustong gamitin. get a cyclo-cross if you want both functionality in one ;)
