Okay last night on the way home from hospital during the Grab ride:

Driver: Ma'am saan niyo po gusto dumaan papunta sa drop-off niyo?

Me: Kuya kahit saan po basta hindi masiyadong mabigat ang traffic.

D: Okay po. Ma'am may pasyente po kayo sa hospital?

M: Meron.

D: Sino po nagbabantay sa anak niyo?

M: Hindi ko anak ang nasa hospital.

D: May asawa na po kayo? Anak? Sabagay bata pa naman kayo ma'am eh, mga siguro (insert age here 10 years younger than my actual age).

M: WALA.

D: shuts up the rest of the way.

When we got to the drop-off.

D: Ma'am sa may Starbucks po ba kayo pupunta?

M: Maihahatid mo ba ako sa mismong pinto ng Starbucks kung dun nga ang punta ko? Akin na sukli ko. - Got off the vehicle, closed the door, did not look kahit bumusina pa siya.

Work, that big responsibility that most if not all adults face on a daily basis...

I have to mend some things in the present. I have to reconcile some thoughts. I have to look at some other stuff that need my attention. And at the end of the long list of MUST DO's, I have to sit down, face the computer and talk to people again as work demands my undivided attention.

Adulting, what a word! Wait, it's not just a word, it's REALITY! I have to grow up.

In that sense, if there's something that I can't do, I should be able to say that I can't instead of taking on the challenge and failing miserably. I should also be able to say NO to certain things with grace. I wonder...

Yep. Adulting. It's dreadful but it is a MUST.

On a side note:

You know that feeling that it seems like you've been hit by a truck 10x over. And I only got a 1 weekend reprieve from all that. Now it feels like I've been hit by a truck a HUNDRED times over.

-------------------

Side Note #2

Yes, I post much in English. It's not my native language, but it is technically my first language. When I was in school, our medium of instruction was English. Filipino was only spoken during the subject's schedule; even history (Philippine or otherwise) was in English. As of present time - my spelling in tagalog sucks BIG time. I can't write a word, especially something long without having to mouth/recite it as I type. My Filipino grammar is also shot to hell. And I only watch Filipino movies for the language. Now, that is lame. That's why English is my choice to communicate. Talk to me in tagalog and we may misunderstand each other. And no, I am not being careful with grammar, spelling, etc. My OCD with the language is due to 16 years of prior educational training, now compounded by the jobs that I've had involving training and coaching people in the field of Customer Service.

Yep, it's not me being "sossy," this is me being me. :)

Just a thought coming from a sleepy and tires brain yelling at my hands and in my head for me to get some much needed rest. Good night.

And as I have mentioned last Saturday, because of certain happy happenstance, I now have 7 in my collection. Whew! I didn't think it would grow that fast in a matter of months.

Anyway, here's my getting to know you session with the newest addition to my growing number of decks at home. This one is something that I had been searching for the last decade. Finally! It's in my hands. :D

U know what they say about nikon? They're for experts. Haha.
Are u in photography?

Yes, I am into photography. I have been enjoying the hobby since I was in High School. My first cameras were Olympus and Canon point and shoot films. Now I'm using Nikon Coolpix P80 and a Nikon DSLR.

Any camera in the hands of an expert will always produce great results. :)

Love the artwork on these cards!

Oh, you should see them in person. They are so beautiful!!!

Dear Adulting,

There are just too many things to consider in life. The first thing I need to sort out would be - PRIORITIES! Which one is which? The top on the list; wait, do I even have it in the right order?

I guess so.

Needs - ✔
Wants:

New Nendoroid - ❓
New Tarot Deck - ✔
New lens - ❓
New phone - ❓
Miscellaneous - ❓

That's budgeting for yah.

Love,

The kid trying to ba an adult

Miscellaneous consists of more than 5 items including a new deck other than what's on the list. 😂✌

Miscellaneous for me:

Going to museums (this is a new hobby)

Spending time at Starbucks, Araneta (yes, I know TMI. but that's my favorite bucks)

A new wristwatch for the collection

A new pair of walking shoes

and all the other stuff I want to do, places I want to go, and restaurants that I want to visit.

Oh, and add a new camera in the mix as well.

I guess this is why me and 3 of these people get along together really well. We do complement each other when it comes to influential elements/primary elements of our signs. We've been friends for a while now and it wasn't until the portrait reading did I find out how well we "blend together"

Talk about completing the magickal circle!!!
