there are two outlet stores...one near stratosphere and one south of the strip, past the south strip bus terminal. mas bago ata yung sa may stratosphere, though not sure. napuntahan ko lang yung sa south ng strip. you can ride the deuce up to the bus terminal and then transfer to the south strip area bus. just ask kung saang platform yung pumupuntang outlet store.

thanks for the response both here and in the california thread.

Just did LV and wasn't able to do most of what I wanted to do mainly bec. I was travelling with my family and 5 days just isn't enough to go to all the sites this city could offer.

The sites I was able to see include:
The Skywalk along the Grand Canyon (2.5 hrs drive),
Hoover Dam (it was along the way to Arizona),
The Bellagio and its' fountain display,
The Venetian with its gondola ride,
the MGM and its lions,
the M&M factory for the kids' amusement (right beside the MGM),
and the Stratosphere Tower (just had to try the Big Shot- the ride that launches you up the tower)

Also brought my wife to the Premium Outlet Shops near Charleston Blvd. Didn't have time to go to Belz at the south near McCarran.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go to a girly show. I listed this pa naman as a must do. I guess this only means that I have to come back to this city.

Five day stay at the Venetian. Wonderful hotel the robes, the bed and the bath were the best part. Room was so great I did not want to leave. This is not a good casino for gambling.

Ate breakfast and dinner at the Bellagio’s buffet, great food and service. Next trip I will try the Rio.

You can take a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon and be back by dark.

I think O is the best show in Vegas. Book early because it will sell out.

Go to the Hilton and join the player’s club for free. You get a change to win a million dollars.

Do not take a taxi at rush hour or on a Friday or Saturday night. To much traffic.

I enjoy watching shows in Las Vegas especially Cirque de Soleil and La Femme. Try going to a place there where you can buy ticket at half price, the place is always shown in travel guide you pick up there. Shopping has also become fantastic in Las Vegas, I like the one in Ceasars Palace and the big Mall.

We stayed kung saan may points mga barkada. Stayed imperial loong time ago, it's along the strip. There's one, very convenient doon sa ala MRT (forget how they call it). MGM was like staying at Shangrila. But hey, you need to be walking more than staying in bed while in Vegas. :hypocritesmiley:

During summer, prices of hotels are in special rates. though weather is defintely on the high 100

Places to go in LV

Bellagio's Fountain show

Shops and casino in Caesar's palace

Paris hotel and casino

New York hotel and casino

Hoover dam

Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion National park. though going there, I suggest that you stay in Kaneb, Utah. Stay there for three days . To enjoy the three parks and to get the chance to enjoy the sun and hike.

Show like Jubilee and the different Cirque De Soleil

and the two outlet shops, LV premium outlets and LV outlet center

Don't forget the many buffets in the vegas strip. Tried the one in Bellagio, Molto buon. and the numerous italian gelato, yumyumyum

Walk inside the venetian and if you like Chinese food, dimsum and short orders. Go to Changs in Decatur st. Good and very reasonable.

Las Vegas has everyting.. from dining, shopping, gambling, entertainment, nightlife etc..

Try nyo Cravings Buffet sa Mirage masarap wide selections of food may crab legs pa hehe

Sa Rio daw masarap we are supposed to eat our lunch there but hindi na kami nakasama ng wife ko (can anyone pls confirm this..)

For shopping, go to Fashion Show Mall, andun halos lahat ng mga sikat na brands (like Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, American Eagle, etc). If you are looking for high-end brands, go to the Forum Shops at Caesars (andun yung LV, Gucci, etc). Maganda din sa Venetian. You can also go to Las Vegas Premium outlets sobra mura dun mga branded like RL & Lacoste (RL Polo Shirt stripe design $39.00 only) plus you can see many items na wala dito sa Pinas like DKNY shirt for men, Juicy Couture apparel, etc.)

Sayang hindi namin natry yung O maganda daw kaya lang wala na kasi kame time eh...
