Libre pa ang ibang venue and no entrance fee. Kapag may singilan na ............ yun ang makikita natin kung ano mangyayari. Tapos papasukin pa ng mga politikos para i promote ang sarili

uu libre kaya madami nanood....

pero hindi ito forever libre...sa laki ng kota per team need mo team manager galing ng Bulacan or galing ng ilocos hahaha

As of the moment, 23 teams na ang MPBL.

And hanggang today na lang ang membership ng mga Visayas and Mindanao teams para maayos ang schedule ng ABS CBN S and A.

Mukhang fully loaded ang S and A this coming June like FIFA World Cup, NCAA, NBA games, PVL among others plus the MPBL.

If you read an article sa Spin, ang issue ng Visayas and Mindanao teams (Cebu most especially) ay 1 home game lang daw ang next season ng MPBL and the rest of elimination games ay sa Luzon na.

Sana hindi nila nalilimutan kung sino man ang gusto sumali for the next preceding tournaments ng Maharlika, mag ready sila ng 50 million pesos membership fee. So far, 10 million pesos with 500k installment yata for 4 to 5 months.

Minaliit niya yung competition... But IMO, this league is so much different from the ABL. Sabi pa nya na stepping stone niya ito to enter the PBA...

Tapos na ang 1st week. We've seen 16 teams out of the 26 teams. Mostly mga ex-pros ang top scorers sa games, but look out sa mga unheralded players.and fresh from college players.

If only they play earlier. Yung 2nd game ends late (pero mukhang wala namang reklamo ang manonood sa mga venues just to enjoy watching the game. Related to that, yung 7-11pm lang yung naibigay ng ABS-CBN S+A to telecast the games live

Kaya nga.. So that's around 15-20 players per team. Yung mga players na impossible na makalaro ng basketball sa ganitong level ay may chance na maglaro dito and even elevate sa PBA if they perform better sa MPBL.

MPBL is not competing with the PBA (PBA D-League siguro, but there are some players who are both playing in the MPBL and D-league) but I guess the PBA is somewhat threatened because of the current setup and the composition of teams and parity of the teams.
