When it comes to most topics taught in school, the motto is often “Knowledge is Power;” but there’s often a double standard when it comes to sex education. This paper provides the evidence that access to comprehensive sex education is not only empowering to all students, but can also help to improve their emotional and social development.

sadly, sex is a taboo topic in our country, no thanks to the moralists in power. from their points of view, sex is evil. ironic that people will eventually do that, ideally, once they get married. the powers that be must realize that premarital sex is here to stay, and the best way to prevent unwanted pregnancies and contracting STDs is to educate them about sex. better that we ourselves teach the younger generation about that rather than them learning it on the internet.

Yup to increase knowledge related to reproductive health. May advantage and disadvantage actually.

Here is the reality tho, its either u increased knowledge about it or lead to nothing.

Aminin ntin once we hear stories about sex or any topics nililibugan tyo right. This reason might push us to find sex adventures, well lalo if the student is not well guided by his /her parents.. For ms teaching sex education n skuls is ok, but not all students are d same.

you really can't stop people from having sex and feeling those urges and desires kaya it's better talaga to arm them with the knowledge and educate them about the consequences and how to prevent those while doing the deed

Honestly i was kinda disappointed with our community when you see a teenager aging range from 12 to 14 getting pregnant or momolHB (make out make out lang -half body) on the side bar of the restaurant around 2ish in the afternoon like WTH, how come adolescents in the present days contributed most on their eagerness to engage in premarital sex. We really need sex educ on our country so they could  teach about human sexuality, intimate relationships, sexual anatomy,  reproduction, sexually transmitted infections that may get for not using a protection, gender identity and responsibilities. Parents must help also children and adolescents make informed, positive and make safe choices responsible sexual activity. But the problem with sex educ, that it's a turn off for a "religious country like the Philippines" OMG.. but there's really nothing irreligious...ungodly about it🤦🏻‍♀️ Philippines are always left behind by other countries, We have poor government policies, legacy of dictatorship of the Catholic Church, which says , be meek, don't control your fertility, everyone has a position or station in life so don't try to change things, god has a plan for you son don't take control of your life....so on and on..

Development and learning in the PH is forbid by the higher ops, church  and rich people coz it will just break their monopolies. Yayy😐
