1 can of Coke has 9 teaspoons of sugar, 9x3=27 teaspoons of sugar. I suggest stepping stone ka muna sa diet coke, then after a few days bawasan mo na ang diet coke, after a week more cold water ka na lang. Our bodies were not made to process that much sugar.

If you're wondering what is the natural sugar intake of humans... imagine an ape eating in the wild... that's the natural sugar level, you just get the sugars from plants and fruits, hindi aabot sa 1 teaspoon of sugar per day.

Nabilang mo din ba ang sugar sa cakes and milk tea mo? sugar dami pinag tataguan, kahit sa tinapay may sugar!

First things first, buy diet coke for now, para mag start ka na sa journey mo.

Seems like I am addicted to coke during this pandemic. I always have 1.5 liters and some in can also.

3 glasses of coke a day, is it bad? any alternative?

Its not bad. Its very bad. I have a friend who used to drink coke and cobra like water. Ilan beses na confine sa hospital. Ako T2 Diabetic na, Dati almost once a day lang coke ko. Kala ko kasi basta mag coke ako then uminom ako ng madaming tubig then iooffset niya ung sugar. Alternative? I guess soda water then lagyan mo ng kalamansi and honey. Or if ayaw mo coke zero which has no sugar (as per the label) pero limit it to once a day, tapos once a week, then once a month. Hanggang sa mawala na siya sa system mo. I know hinahanap hanap ng katawan yan if bigla mong istop. Pero kelangan as it will be very harmful to your body.

Zero sugar and "light" soda isn't really all that healthy.

Though for the diabetics here, what do you guys use for your daily monitoring of blood glucose?

I have my One Touch Ultra Easy blood glucose monitoring system. For my FBS.

Meron namang mga soda na hindi gumagamit ng artificial sweeteners, like Zevia

coke = hard habit to break.. too adictive

pero tama sila lahat. taking coke away is like one big achievement.

sa case ko, from drinking 500ml to more than 1L per day of coke, nagawa ko by switching to other colas (didnt really like RC, natuwa ako sa Pop, Zesto), then coke light (i found coke zero weird sa tyan), then eventually halos wala na.

i tried coke yesterday: couldnt even finish half a Mismo bottle.

also make sure you complete your 3L of water a day on top of your coffee / tea. drink juice din, not the sugary ones. try fresh coconut (as in yung sa naka cariton na magbubuko) or for packed / bottled ones meron lite n rite (which isnt really juice just flavored water). stay away from gatorade, del monte, locally and those commercial fruitjuices, kahit zero or no sugar ung natural sweet enzyme nila is still a killer.

do you have physical workout to burn the sugar and sweat it?  i heard that is effective.
