Nasa book 1 pa lang ako sa audiobook. Ang ganda ng characterization ni Imp Lannister sa TV series (yung dwarf). Sa libro, hindi ganon kaganda. Ewan ko kung may effect yung pagkakabasa sa audiobook.

tyrion in the book was better than in the tv series but then again it takes him awhile to get interesting

fave characters so far: jon, davos, mance rayder, jorah, arya, jaime, brienne

Tyrion in the book is pretty kick-ass, but his storyline actually picks up better going into the 2nd book.

My fave characters are Jon, Arya, Renly and Loras (loveteam!), and maybeeeee Robb. :-) And Tyrion, of course.

Nice to know that Tyrion will be developed later on. I like Arya and her swordsmaster (Furel? sorry, I listen, don't read).

COK and SOS were the best books in the series so far .. GOT took time to develop .. and FFC and DWD were big setups .. but DWD was way better than FFC just bec they had more interesting character POVs in it

Uhm, Robert Jordan died of his longtime illness so it couldn't be helped that Sanderson is writing the last 3 books.

GRRM on the other hand is just doing a whole lot with his franchise (branching out into gaming and TV) thus taking a whole lot longer to finish books.

On topic, Dance ended in some unexpected ways. I like the major character development done on Arya and Daenerys though. Those two still top my list of favorite characters in the book.

Finally got my hands on the first book. Loved the series so I'd go for the books for now while the show is on break. :)

whos to say GRRM doesnt have any ailments? Im just saying book wait have been and ave of 4-5 years 2 more books makes it a decade .. instead of branching out take care of the main franchise first

Finished COK Saturday morning, started reading SOS almost immediately. One long weekend after, im halway done SOS.

SOS is pretty much awesome. A bit sad at times, but awesome nonetheless!

GRRM got sick awhile back. It contributed to DOD's delay.
