And that is encouraged by most of the faculty. If that means to rail and demonstrate and fight for what you think is right so much the better. It’s actually free. But one professor who's my friend says Pascual was a complete A-hole when he was UP president. He was appointed only because of his frat ('lonsi.) Hindi sila pulubi na pinapaaral galing sa bulsa ni Digong, Inday o ni Bongbong. Lahat ng mga estudyante dyan ay may parents na tax payers. In fact dami nga dyan anak mayaman. Kung nagbabayad ka naman ng buwis, at kaya mo ipasa standards ng UP, karapatan mo magaral dyan, ke pinkilawan ka o kaDDS. Baguhin dapat yun notion na "Pinapaaral ng Gobyerno". Kasi ang totoo "PInapasweldo natin mga tao sa Gobyerno" at ito ang serbisyong dapat lang nila ibigay. Nakalagay yan sa saligang batas natin eh Quote Link to comment
Edmund Dantes Posted October 10, 2022 Share Posted October 10, 2022 In all my years with UP, wala pa ako kahit kelan nakita dyan na NPA. Nagdorm pa ako for some years. Madalas din ako magjogging dyan, pero ni minsan wala pa ako nakita dyan na NPA. Pero sa Davao oo! Malakas mga yan kay Duterte eh, kaya pwede sila dyan mamalengke dala pa armalite nila. I had to say this, kasi patawa yun mga nagsasabi "Panay Recruitment ng NPA dyan sa UP". Pero yun mga nagsasabi ni hindi naman nakapasok sa kahit anong campus ng UP. Aktibista OO! Pero nung nagaral ako abroad, madami din aktibista sa campus. In fact dun, pinupuri pa students na naninindigan. Kasi nga ang University market ng Idea dyan eh Quote Link to comment
