for adult person? yup. healthy range is a systolic of 90 to 130 and diastolic of 60 to 80. other factors to consider are the age of the patient, weight, previous bp, previous medical conditions, medications....

its always best to consult a doctor, find a doctor you trust and are comfortable with, and stick with that doctor.

hth :-)

ako, bp ko last take ko (last week) was 117/72 (NIBP kasi ginamit ko hehehe)

90/60 is that still healthy??

Chest pains.

BP (taken 9am today) 140/100.

ECG done but results will be known later when the doctor arrives.

Meanwhile, was told to just sit down and relax.

-------------------

Initial ECG findings show the condition Tachycardia. Doctor says I need further work up.

how old are you na ba bro..?

do you have symptoms like headaches, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, etc..?

do you have a family history of cardiovascular diseases..? diabetes..?

do you smoke..? do you exercise regularly..? do you love to eat fatty foods..? are you obese..?

it could be that you were nervous or pagod ka when your BP was taken kaya mataas...

to be diagnosed as hypertensive, you should register at least 140/90 mmHg and up on three different occasions, and you are relaxed kapag nagpa-BP ka...

tachycardia sa ECG result mo means that you might be nervous or pagod ka kaya mabilis ang pulso mo...

let`s wait and see what your cardiologist finds out after examining you...
