who's into the great outdoors? i've only climbed once with a group of mountain climbers... and well, once isn't enough... i just don't know which group of people to join...

i climb walls as well... but since my schedule's so hectic, i dont have much time for it anymore... im hoping to meet fellow enthusiast to "encourage" and give me a reason to climb again. it's not fun climbing alone...

hehehehe... i know what you mean... ako nga naka-jeans pa when i climbed. so extra hard to climb coz of the extra weight i carried.

sarap naman sa company nyo.. they sponsor climbing escapades.. i wish we have that too.. all of my climbing activities are personal trips so i have to shell out from my own pocket. pero totoo, the experience is always rewarding. ;)

beem climbing since 1992, puro d2 lang sa pinas. i shifted to adventure racing, this is the next level daw to mountain climbing the diff is there's a competition. pero it's very friendly. may sked kami climb banahaw kung papalarin makalusot, if ever not cristobal na lang.

Hi, I've only climbed once (Mt. Makulot) and would like to do it again. Is Mt. Romelo, Famy ok for beginners? Btw, where in Laguna is it? Thanks!

Bro...

I think Famy is a municipality in Laguna Province... The jump off point is along the Famy to Infanta Highway...

It is in the category of Level 1 (Easy) Minor Climb... 240 Meters above sea level...

It boasts of several waterfalls; namely Buruwisan, Batya-Batya, Sampaloc and Lanzones. Buruwisan, the largest fall is an ideal place for rappelling.

Whenver I climb and stretch my feet and arms to reach the roots to cling on..I feel so glad and don't care if it might cause some wounds or bruises in my arms and legs. Rasta Marie said..I climb up the summit but it doesn't end there; I come down again after hearing the sound of the wind...engaging myself to another challenge...what can be seen above, cannot be seen from below...I am a climber, I ascend and descend. Though I can't see the summit any longer, I have seen it's beauty..The artistic view of what I saw above remains in my head as I go down...If I can't see the higher part anymore...at least I know what's up there...This is my life..my choice..Mountains complete me!

I used to climb from 2000-2003. Now, my own company is a harder mountain to climb. Hope to be able to climb again sometime this year!
