Tulip 💕💋
FOR ME, smoking after a work out is a form of relaxation both physically and mentally...just like having a cigarette after a SEX-work out... Quote Link to comment
Flash Sentry
This is never a good combination True. Although to each his own, I still do not see why one would workout only to have all that gain thrown away with smoking. Quote Link to comment
sanchezZZZzz
Better to workout then smoke than not to work out then smoke ,, smoking is really relaxing because you are deep breathing but actually relaxing hence killing you slowly Cure for smokers that wants to stop is to not smoke at all Quote Link to comment
shinyshiny2
smoking rarely has any good benefits in the long run. But there are documented cases of addiction switching from smoking to sports. Some believe that they can "neutralize" harmful effects of smoking with exercise. Weightlifting causes microinjury to your muscles and good bloodflow is needed for these injuries to heal. Smoking lowers blood flow, low blood flow means less healing = increases chances for injury. So if you plan to beef up or to have some "gainz" quit smoking altogether. Quote Link to comment

mrbig86
Smoking will reduce your stamina and affect your breathing - two things that are important for lifting weights - especially if you are a power lifter. I was a smoker when I was 13-17 years old, and again when I was 23-28. I've been lifting weights since I was 15, and I can tell you, it affects your performance in general. johnlove
Still smoking, and your body is still strong? What smoking can't do to you, it can do to your future kids. Prepare to take care for special children. Unlike marijuana, once you start smoking, it is difficult to quit. That's why some people prefer marijuana to cigarettes. handsomebob
my gym friend smokes about a cigarette before he starts lifting... I do believe it is hindering him from lifting greater weights and he is only 22 so he doesn't feel the effects yet of his smoking habit... Quote Link to comment
K0RN - RETIR3D
After almost a decade of being free from cigarettes, Now I'm back, due to my nature of work (GY Shift). Tried not to but since more than a year na ako sa GY and with all the stress, taking 2-4 sticks a day keeps me sane from work. But I know it would take its negative effect While doing SBD (70-50-90). courtesanhunter
depende sa level ng pagkahook sa sigarilyo. mas mahina ang baga ng mga taong dependent sa sigarilyo. apektado din ang respiratory function ng skin. basically sa breathing nagkakaroon ng issue. Quote Link to comment
