Year Of The Monkey

Recommended Posts

This thread is for people born in the year of the MONKEY :

(mga taong pinanganak na mahilig maglaro :hypocritesmiley: , people who want to have FUN all the time    )

If you're a MONKEY, add yourself to this list! (SunflowR, this thread is made specially for you ... keep it alive  )

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Monkeys are fun and loving persons who are always cheerful and energetic. They are very clever. Give a monkey a boring book to read and he'll turn it into a Musical. Better yet, he'll invite everyone to see it free! That's how talented, creative and generous monkeys usually are.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you go to a party, you'll find Monkeys at the center of attention. Their charm and humor is the key to their popularity. Sociable and diplomatic as they may appear, they can be deceptive sometimes - they hide their opinions of others beneath their friendliness. But they don't hide their emotion. You can probably tell how a monkey is feeling from miles away - he wants everyone to know how happy or depressed he is.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Monkey people are very good at problem-solving. Wherever you are, whoever you may be, if you've got a problem pick up the phone and dial-a-Monkey. Monkeys know how to listen closely and work out solutions at the same time. And because Monkeys' curiosity, they usually have a great thirst for knowledge. Still they have few scruples - they could be unreasonable sometimes, and they have the ability to persuade themselves and everyone around them to believe that they are doing the right things. Some say monkeys are self-centered, some say they are opportunistic, some say they are guileful, but monkeys couldn't care less - because they are also indifferent.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The monkey has a good chance of becoming famous or well-known. Whatever he does, his charm and luck will make him successful. As friends, Monkeys are both loyal and devoted, as lovers, they can be passionate and yet flighty - they can fall easily in love but will get tired of the relationship and look for another.

Most Monkeys have one fetish - FOOD. They are not pigs, they don't stuff themselves with food, instead, they just have this habit of eating snacks whenever they like, and wherever they like. And one last truth about monkey people is, they adore bananas. Go visit your monkey friend's kitchen, I bet you will find some bananas there.

Compatibility (1 - least compatible, 100 - most compatible) with:

Rat 90 - One of the best combinations.

Ox 74 - Nice. They are compatible and stable.

Tiger 81 - These two make eager loves.

Rabbit 73 - Amusing.

Dragon 82 - Despite the differences, they'll do just fine.

Snake 57 - Perhaps, it depends on the monkey.

Horse 31 - Not advised.

Goat 65 - Oh well, why not?!

Monkey 85 - Great companions and total complicity.

Rooster 72 - Probably, who knows

thank u, black cat.

People born in the Year of the Monkey are the erratic geniuses of the cycle. Clever, skillful, and flexible, they are remarkably inventive and original and can solve the most difficult problems with ease. There are few fields in which Monkey people wouldn't be successful but they have a disconcerting habit of being too agreeable. They want to do things now, and if they cannot get started immediately, they become discouraged and sometimes leave their projects. Although good at making decisions, they tend to look down on others. Having common sense, Monkey people have a deep desire for knowledge and have excellent memories. Monkey people are strong willed but their anger cools quickly. They are most compatible with the Dragon and Rat.

welcome here allandale and summersky07! we'll bring out the monkey in us... :D

The Monkey is the sign of the inventor, the improvisor, and the motivator in the Chinese zodiac; a charlatan capable of drawing everyone to him with his inimitable guile and charm. Being the quick-witted genius of the cycle, he is clever, flexible and innovative.

yw, allandale! i like ur avatar.

The Monkey can solve intricate problems with ease and will be a very fast learner. He can master anything under the sun and usually has the aptitude for being a good linguist. A person born during this year will be successful at whatever he chooses to do. No challenge will be too great for him.

On the negative side, the Monkey person has an inborn superiority, complex. He doesn't have enough respect for others. Or rather, from his point of view, he has too much for himself. He can be extremely selfish, egoistic and vain. There is also a jealous streak in him that surfaces every time someone gets a promotion or something that he does not have. He is extremely competitive, but good at concealing his feelings and planning his cunning moves. In his pursuit of money, success or power, the Monkey's prowess is unbeatable.

^this is really negative and i disagree. speaking for myself, am not superior. i'd rather say, 'am shy. always behind the cam. i respect other people more. 'am not selfish, i'd rather help and extend whatever i know. most of all, 'am not a jealous type of person. i always give reasons. hmmmmmm! above are opposite of my personality.

In the Monkey's many-sided personality the one quality that isn't missing is confidence, no matter how shy or docile he may look. He will take care to display a good bearing, well-rehearsed politeness and a calm dignity. He has an intense and unshakable belief in himself.

^dis is not so true to me. depends, too. sometimes, 'am shy. or i just love it to be behind d cam. 'am not a front liner person. politeness, yes, but sometimes, i don't believe in myself. i need somebody to tell me and believe in me.

it would be inaccurate to dub the Monkey as a completely selfish person. No, he is more like a child in his delightful preoccupation with himself. He can be totally oblivious of others if they are not directly involved in what he is doing at the moment. He views himself with the same fascination and ecstatic joy that a baby exhibits the first time he learns how to play with his fingers and toes. Observe how the infant reacts when he discovers how to clap his hands. He will squeal with glee and proceed to do the same thing over and over until he masters the act. Totally occupied with his marvelous discovery, he is unaware of anything else.

you will find the Monkey showing the self-same unabashed joy at his own cleverness and brilliant accomplishments. He won't masquerade his pride but neither will he be artificial about it. He honestly believes there isn't anyone else around who can top his act.

^hmmmmmm! happy of the accomplishments but not the last sentence. i respect other people's work , too and maybe, they are more brilliant than me.
