Oral Specialist
braces doc..... how much and recommended ortho? (sana muralang)<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Braces can range from 25k to 100+k depending on the experience and location of the orthodontist. It may seem expensive but a study showed that orthodontic treatment expenses including labor just about breaks even. There are different orthodontic techniques and each one has unique material and procedural requirements. Of course the orthos who have been practicing longer usually command a higher price. I suggest that you canvas for a good orthodontist and ask people for their opinions. For objectivity's sake I can't make any recommendations in the boards. PM pwede. Quote Link to comment

Oral Specialist
do you know how to treat a patient with hemophilia if he wishes he's tooth to be extracted?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> The patient will need a physician to clear him. Lab results that show a good platelet count can indicate an eligibility for an extraction but a blood transfusion might be required before or after the treatment. Quote Link to comment

Oh yes it's very true. It usually occurs when there is an imbalance in the way the teeth are contacting with each other when you chew. Stress can also be a factor as well as night grinding or uneven fillings. There can be many factors but it can be fixed with the proper appliance similar to a retainer. Quote Link to comment

My dentist told for a 6 month period of treatment (dental appliance with therapy) it would cost me 35k. Is this price just right? Quote Link to comment

Is this price just right? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It actually depends on the technique and materials used as well as the severity of the TMJ problem. I can't really say if the price is right since it's usually at the dentist's discretion. Apparently your dentist has quite an extablished practice. Quote Link to comment

If this is beneficial for you then go for it. I haven't tried the product myself so I can't comment on the product. Quote Link to comment

Barenaked-NoMre
Hello to the Dental practitioners here! ;-) Not exactly the appropriate thread ... who knows. ;-P Should you have a need for an SMS/text-based application software or know of someone/companies interested in such, I am just a PM away. ;-) I am an independent reseller for the product ... we can work on some kind of referral fee (on a closed sale). ;-P Hey, we don't know everyone ... this is where the 6th degree of separation comes into play ... ;-) Quote Link to comment

doc_shane
sayang at dika umabot sa promo, nung feb. i gave 50% discount kc oral health month, ngayon back to normal, ang bleaching ko, up and down, 28 thous, with 2 years warranty, if nag fade or bumalik sa normal color, ill bleach you again for free, pero ndi nag yayari yan, it will last upto 5 years, depende sa pag alaga mo, ang fixed bridge ay pustiso kaso ito permanent sa mouth mo, it will last until u want it to be there, pag okay nmn ang alaga mo, i mean proper oral hygeine, it will last up to 15 yrs, porcelain nmn kc un, pag ndi m inalagaan and nag smoke ka, mga 2 yrs lng maitim n at kailngan n palitan... pero dont worry, kc my quality ang gawa ko kaya medyo amhal compare sa iba. ang clinic k pala ay nasa qc.. email m nlng ur contact details. *med Hi doc shane...I want to have a general cleaning and teeth bleaching. how much would that cost me? and btw where is your clinic located?
