I have two mobile phones connecting to different networks, Smart and Globe. Both are prepaid because I like the fact that there are no records of the calls I make anywhere. But reloading can sometimes be troublesome because you have to actually go and buy credits.

This is what I use smart money for. Loading credits into my smart phone is easy of course, you can do that from the smart money menu on your phone. But I have also found a way to load any phone on any network using smart money in combination with an online phone credit loading service.

www.load.com.ph offers free registration. You open an account online with them and then you can transfer money from your smart money account to a load.com.ph account. From there you can send phone credits, roses, and even buy cell phones online. I use it to manage not only my phone loading but also the phone loading of all of my staff and family members.

So far wala pa naman sablay. I've been using it for almost three months na. And they give you a 5% discount. So a Smart eload P115 actually costds P108. Small potatoes, I know but at least they give you something to recognize your initiative.

ako i use it always. aside from the points which in turn will be free load i get to make "pigil" my self from spending more than what i plan to. example...eb ng mtc tapos i'll set a budget of 500 - 1000 for drinks. prior to entering i'll transfer from my atm na metrobank money to my smartmoney. tapos yun lang ang magagamit ko for the night tapos iwan ko ang atm sa car or minsan sa house. para if i spend na the limit hanggang doon lang. tapos kung gusto ko pa ng money i have to go to the atm pa para magwithdraw ergo tatamarin na ako kasi di naman importante kaya ayun uwi na lang or di na ako lalabas...tapos 500 cash lang iniwan ko sa wallet for emergency lang i'm not tempted to pay for a psp if i meet one...if i get free sex i'll still have cash in my wallet for short time.

smartmoney is very effective in terms of ease of transfering fund locally.. i just wish it can also be used inernationally or at least be recognized as an international card so we can use it abroad as well..

I was able to get a smartmoney card. But I have not activated it. Is there a deadline for activating my card?
