I dunno about you guys but I have a thing for full grain leather, I know they don't look that polished and refined but I like the way they age and feel...
I have fullgrain leather boots and wallet which I love.

I seldom wear leather shoes nowadays but these I have in my shoe rack in our walk-in closet which I wear for special occasions

Rockport - i find it comfortable talaga
Agree ako diyan. I've been wearing Rockport to the office for over 5 years na. Malambot at comfortable talaga.
Actually I found this new brand sa Rustans. It makes leather formal shoes pero rubberized ang mga soles. As in di halata na rubberized ang soles. The brand escapes me at the moment.
Ganoon din ang price range niya gaya ng Rockport - around 4 to 5K per pair.

anyway, i agree na ok talaga ang rockport. if you commute it is important to have 'sensible' shoes, di bale kung hindi ganun kaporma.
locally, ive also owned some pairs of rusty lopez. marami silang more contemporary designs with rubber soles.
