I would recommend Banawe for those looking for great food selection.
1. Muang Thai - Although there are other branches (Baguio, Sulo Hotel), this hole-in-the wall serves the best Thai food around. It has a home-cooked feel to it and their Tomyang soup is to die for.

2. Tazza - located in one of the sidestreets perpendicular to Banawe. It's a nice little coffee shop where one can dine while having their car washed. Their food is excellent and I recommend their selection of cakes.

3. Han Pao - Chinese food at its greasiest and finest. Best Halo-halo congee in town - I recommend it with bicho-bicho. Unbelievably better than North Park and not as expensive.

4. Steak and Sisig express - 120 for a t-bone steak. Nuff said.

try mr poon, this is along banawe st. between retiro (former amorsolo) and del monte avenue, if you are coming from quezon ave. left side siya, yellow ang sinage. you won't miss it! i recommend the tagalog petchay(P120), beef bowl soup(70), steam lapu lapu with original sause.( P750 up)

tazza is located not in banawe st. it is in the corner of Jolibee banawe. of coner of sonny ok and dencios banawe.

muang thai is along banawe, from QA, they are on the right side, their sinage is pink color. the resto is near fook wan (their specialty is crab)

steak and sisig is also not along banawe, if you are coming from QA. turn left at the side street of Mr. poon restaurant, then on the next corner turn left again.

if your looking for the best lumpia (P50.00) try MUY Hong, along banawe st. near speedsign from QA they are on the right side of the road.

Coral Garden is a good place for chinese food. Medyo luma nga lang na yung lugar. It's along Banawe, right before you reach E. Rodriguez. Nalimutan ko na yung name nung food, but order yung noodles nila na binubuhusan ng sabaw and fried tofu. Hehehe...

tazza food can never be considered excellennt.

han pao favorites are its pata rice and han pao feast, which is flat beijing noodles with an assortment of toppings like beef brisket, wanton, chicken and sliced pork with chili sauce

steak and sisig express has a clean place and visible kitchen but the taste is lacking. excessive use of margarine in all its side dishes and gravy.

I have tried almost all the restos mentioned above!
I have a new find, a cafe located at a corner street in Retiro na me katabing Carwash, that is named Orange Bread Cafe, sarap ng food nila especially the chicken teriyaki, kaso antagal tagal ng order! almost 1 hour !
