Mariners/V Mapa LRT2 station

1500/mo- regular members

1000/mo- student members (21/yo and below)

They do martial arts/jiu jitsu/thai boxing/karate-do and whatnot

the place is very well-maintained, nice shower rooms, trainers who actually assist you and watch your form, etc

the best part is, 1000 lang charge saken, (im 20 and working hahahah)

Ako Gym ako sa Slimmers World. Mura lang minsan, minsan mahal kasi pabago bago sila ng price, kasi every month nagkakaroon sila ng promo. Swerte mo kung may pera ka ng month na un, na mura ang GYM nila. Regular price nila is 3,500 for 3 months pero as i have said nagbabago un. Naka avail ako ng 1 year plus 1 year for 10,000.

mariners is pretty cool for the price- P1000 for students (21 y.o. and below)

gym usage pa lang yun. if you want to go for the classes (jiu jitsu, kickboxing, etc) or get a personal trainer theres diff rates

equipment = OK. 3.5 out of 5

shower rooms = 4 out of 5

staff = helpful

this is not the place to go to if you want to look for "certified trainers" or PT grads to walk you through. if that's what youre looking for, go pay for service in FF or Gold's

cons: maliit lang yung place, gets crowded 6 pm onwards, maghihintayan kayo sa pulldowns. not open on sundays, which is a bummer. isang area lang yung may mirror. yun pang nasa pader sa likod ng reception. :lol: very smart of them

bonus pa may isang trainer dun kamukha ni scott stapp :D kakantahan ka pa sa shower rm hahah

* been there for like, 6 mos ata- but then since it's been the cons have proving limiting to me (i have the most free time during sundays, when theyre closed; 60% of the time I spend in the gym is comprised of waiting to take turns in the benches/machines, and i dont have much time to spend, really, etc..). i just signed up for FF libis- 5-minute walk from my workplace

verdict: it's a good place, well worth your money. all the essentials- nice, clean showers and well-maintained equipment. just make sure you do your homework (read up on good, healthy practices, check your own form when in the weights area)
