1. mukhang mahal na hobby to ah.

for bows, doesn't seem so. check youtube: BackyardBowyer or Google - bows out of PVC pipe.
as for arrows, just saw they have videos for dowel arrows with duct tape fletching too. might be cheap also

i heard a good bow is something like P30K minimum...is this correct?

maybe you can try one of the archery ranges here for a trial lesson muna.

Kinda got hooked into archery when I availed of some promos from Ensogo and Groupon Philippines. A bit expensive though. But still, gusto kong balikan

interested din ako mag try ng archery last year, i inquired at benel archery sa mandaluyong, sabi tatawagan daw ako, BUT wala! when i messaged them puno daw ang schedule, e sa akin whether puno o hindi, reply back naman sana sa potential customer, disappointed and wont give a chance to them for being such snobs, will try gandiva, didnt know meron pala dyan sa pasig  thanks for the info, they might turn out to be more accomodating

How about crossbow? Does that qualify as archery? I've been interested in it for some time now...

For the bow and arrow. No license is technically needed but for the crossbow, kailangan. However, with the mindset of some policemen who knows.

As far as i know Gandiva is still operating

However you might also want to check out Kodanda archery range at the Makati Cinema Square. Mas cheaper yun rates nila compared to Gandiva
