yo xxx ! nice one. nice to know you're up to date on the red sox. spying este scouting for the yankees eh ? :hypocritesmiley:

and here's something for the stat geeks : did you know that the red sox played 39 games last year where they scored two runs or less? and not surprisingly they lost 35 of those. and this year we lost jason bay. hmmmmm ... theo says this year is all about defense and pitching. it'll be interesting to see how it works out ...

papi ? you mean the big PopUp ? dude the guy went 2 of 3 yesterday. prior to that he as hitting at.053 so that makes him what a .143 hitter ? GREAT STUFF ! i really think papi's not papi anymore. <_<

imho ... the red sox this year is like an experimental frankenstein monster ... he's bad and threatening but his act can get pretty UGLY quick. i think the sox are really positioning themselves for years ahead

Dodgers Return Zerpa To Red Sox

Actually, Zerpa was a Rule 5 pick by the Tampa Bay Rays and they traded him to the Dodgers for some cash. So if the Dodgers have anything to say, it should be directed at the Rays. But then again, this being a Rule 5 draft, the cash involved was dirt cheap. Incidentally, J. Santana was a Rule 5 pick, so sometimes, a golden nugget can be found in a heap of garbage :-)

since the fiesta of all fiestas (the upcoming may elections to you) is beginning to heat up, just like the scorching summer heat we're all having, i just like to share an amusing article in line with politics. goofy politics, that is. well i expect our own trapos won't do a "kerry" unless they wanna sabotage their election bid purposely.
