i don't know if posting of numbers for this one is allowed... but it'll be better if address and shop contact details will be mentioned too.

me...i'm sporting long hair now...used to have my hair cut at kevin's cut in front of la salle....chanced upon former justice secretary perez having his bigote trimmed a long time ago.

Every month, I go to Diva's Salon just across the street from where I work. Three hairdressers alternately do my hair: 6-footer Joey (she's female), silent and pretty Lisa and foxy but friendly Philomena. It's kinda weird because every time I'm in their salon, I'm the only Asian customer. The rate is kinda steep ($58) compared to other cities ($15-$35) but I like the way the three of them cut my hair. I get a new style for my short hair every month. :)

Don't know if they do the hair of any celebrity in San Francisco though. I only talk to them about books and not about other people.

when i was still in Pinas i go to jun encarnacion's salon in laong-laan...kapitbahay lang namin and i get good service there and added bunos na ung may mga celebrities na pupunta dun for their hairstyling..

david's salon at Megamall branch was one of my alternative too, and the ricky reyes branch in Kalentong when i moved to mandaluyong.

right now i go to my vietnamese hairstylist Li, and Vogue salon. :)

i go to paolo of fix g4. he also does my hair and makeup for special occasions and gigs, etc.

for maintenance trims and perm retouches (yes, i have a perm), i go to french touch in b.f. pque. very inexpensive and they treat me well. and i trust them not to burn or damage my hair.

although, when i feel like spending, which is not often, i like going to you salon over at the fort. they have all these interesting new techniques and equipment. worth a check if you have the dough to spare.

Bruno's in Tomas Morato

Used to go to Brunos then decided to wear my hair semi-kalbo .  I just shave my hair myself. It's ok except for the occasional close shave with the eyebrows.

Bruno's Ortigas... Have you tried it there ???

while i was having my haircut in shanghai (i stayed there for a wyl kasi nag aral ako dun), yung barbero na nag gupit sakin nagyayabang sabi nya si zhao wei (so close yung sister nung namatay na girl) daw ginugupitan nya, ewan ko lang kung totoo o kwentong barbero lang hehe  :)

Wow! :boo: Ganda nun ni ZHAO WEI, sikat na sikat siya dun...

Or baka kwento mo lang yan bro ??? Joke!!!

I used to go to Alex Carbonell in his old shop at the Atrium. Then he went and got big time and expensive... so I moved to

Salon de Manila in Greenbelt where for the longest time, Salve cut my hair. When I moved offices to Ortigas, it became nakaka tamad to have to go all the way to Makati for a cut so I found a stylist in David's Mega (female, long hair, name escapes me at the moment) ... then when Fix opened at the Podium, I tried it and ended up being a regular there til I left.

Now, if im in LA, Tita Ludy of Dylux cuts my hair. Here in Tx, its Ms Kim of Hair by Tony's... the language barrier kills me though. Shes Vietnamese and its tough explaining what I want her to do to my hair

I've heard of this Salon de Manila. My sisters used to go there. Their staff are really, really good. And most of the times, the owner is acknowledged by celebrities in different shows.

makisali po.. :)

salon de manila is a rep*table salon headed by its owner pin antonio. if im not mistaken ms. antonio started the trend in precision cutting. and most of her staff are knowledgable on this style of cutting as well.

other good salons are H by Henry Calayag (Rustans Makati) and Symetria.

*source, my wife.. :)

ako naman I used to go to Brunos Timog (iba na name ngayon). But since I wanted to have my hair styled na (para itago yung HIV - hair is vanishing), either fix in podium or in mo. ignacia.

H is good but sometimes, you build a bond with your stylist and you just tend to go back to one.
