puson mo pare :)

VPN user here, linux implem of IPSEC, l2tp and PPTP. Intel Netstructure and Cisco concentrators...

PLDT and Globe are fine, and Bayantel and Digitel too. We also have WeRoam VPN (PLDT to a DFR pvc), and Visibility VPN (Globe/Innove to the MPLS link)

RV042 imho is lame, can't even cope up with networks larger than /24, somehow it can be cheated to work.

ako nga not even a single connection cant pass that router. bad trip... got the public ip implemented in it. and set all the necessary settings. but yet, i cant go thru it. kaya im wondering does PLDT modem blocks the VPN?

have you first hand implemented a dual ISP using this type of router?

haha... linux is not for the impatient, most users are :)

guess the issue you mentioned got to do with NAT, try it witha single ISP first and see if you can pass thru, thaen add another ISP.

I personnaly tried dual ISP and load balancing actually worked, the sad part is when i took one ISP down, it took more than 10 mins to stop routing to the dead link.

i'm still very much attached to linux+iproute2 multi-path (i guess poorly implemented by linksys) route for multiple ISP, i have one box with 3 ISP live in corporate environment :)

Long time no post sa IT group ako.

Share ko lang:

IT support ako sa office and there was this user that approached me with a problem. She said "wala ang e sa computer ko". Taka ako kung ano pinagsasabi niya. We went to her desktop so that she could point out what she meant.

yun pala wala ang internet explorer icon niya sa desktop
