Back in 2013, I hung out with someone from Davao who used to frequent the bar where Paolo Duterte also goes. He said that Paolo is really an assh*le, really maangas, travels around with an entourage. Almost everyone there knew that he was involved in drugs but was afraid of him. Digong has always been reprimanding him but their relationship is strained so he goes against Digong's orders.

Well, theres no evidence yet but i wont be surprised that he's actually involved in big time drug smuggling.

there is a reason why digong does not want him mayor of davao... remember when was about to run president, he wanted sara to replace his as candidate of davao mayor and not polong who was vice-mayor that time........

Dapat sa BOC complete overhaul. The Bureau is already rotten to the core, ang hirap  di mo alam kung sino pagkakatiwalaan mo sa loob.

Well di ba slogan ni Du30 change is comming?

Bakit kaya?  If you watched interview ni J. Soho kay Faeldon kagabi, it was a very informative.  Nakapag salita si Faeldon ng maayos and gave some info kung bakit siya naiipit.  Para siyang si Gina Lopez, maraming nasagasaan along the way.

A big difference.

Yun ignorante walang alam so since walang alam walang masabi.

Hahaha

Kahit papaano nasa timing yun expose ni Ping kasi nataon na may senate inquiry about the corruption in the BOC. His privilege speech came halos simultaneous with the inquiry.

Look at it from the angle of character.

Faeldon, Maestrecampo and Gambala are military reformists who were part of Magdalo's Trillanes-led Oakwood Mutiny.

However, these three broke away from Magdalo after it has become apparent to them that Magdalo is just another political group lusting for power and not really for reforms.

It would be out of their character to broker a deal with Lacson for his bribe money.

It is more believable that they are really out for reforms, but like Gina Lopez, underestimated the strength of their opposition and got on too hard, too fast.

Insiders of the Association of Cement Manufacturers of the Philippines tag Lacson Jr.'s Bonjourno as one of the biggest cement smuggler. I am leaning towards believing that. Despite the increase in demand for cement in the Philippines, local cement plants couldn't raise funds to upgrade or expand their plants. Smuggled cement is stealing business away from the local manufacturers. That's a fact.

In the few months Gina was denr secretary she cited a lot of mining companies for illegal activities even suspending/closing some of them.

On the other hand Faeldon claims he knew all of this long long time ago and yet no actions were taken worst he kept his silence until recently. Too late a hero regardless Ping's son is really a smugler or not.

Oh and btw, a former asec of dti who i think is a member of the association was interviewed recently and openly said that they did report the activities of Bonjourno and other companies they suspect to Faeldon. The truth is despite the recent revelation by Faeldon they are disappointed in him since ang tagal na ni-report at walang action taken.

Asking people to look at the other angle is probably asking people to Turn a blind eye on his corrupt activities with the intent to mislead and make Faeldon look good considering no one in the senate is buying his story ...

Taguba apologizes to Duterte son, in-law, clears them from drug smuggling mess

http://newsinfo.inqu...time=1504240237

Broker Mark Ruben Taguba II has apologized to presidential son Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte and his brother-in-law Manases Carpio for the “fake news” circulating that the two were involved in the P6.4-billion shipment of illegal drugs that went past the inspection of the Bureau of Customs (BOC).

Taguba, in a statement on Friday, cleared Duterte and Carpio from any corrupt activities within the Customs.

Taguba is the broker tagged as one of those who facilitated the shipment of 605 kilograms of drugs from Xiamen, China. He denied that he knew that the container he delivered had drugs inside.

“I am making this statement to clear Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte and Atty. Manse Carpio from any involvement in the shipment of illegal drugs into the country, and any anomalies in the Bureau of Customs,” he said.

“I also hereby apologize to Vice Mayor Duterte, Atty. Carpio and to the first family for the proliferation of fake news arising out of my testimony at the Senate yesterday,” he said.

He also belied “fake news deviously spread on social media” in connection with his testimony during the Senate blue ribbon committee hearing on Thursday.

“I wish to categorically make it clear that: 1. I had never testified, nor will I ever testify that Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte and/or Atty. Manse Carpio were involved in the shipment of illegal drugs into the country. Neither have I testified, nor will I ever testify that the aforementioned individuals were involved in the ‘Tara System’ that was in place at the Bureau of Customs,” he said.

Taguba maintained that the alleged involvement of Duterte and Carpio are “hearsay in nature.”

“The names of Vice Mayor Duterte and or Atty. Manases Carpio were merely mentioned by the ‘Davao Group’ whose direct contacts to me were ‘Tita Nannie’ and ‘Jack.’ As I had repeatedly stated before Congress and the Senate, the alleged involvement of the aforementioned individuals are hearsay in nature,” he said.

In earlier hearings Taguba said he Davao City Councilor Nilo “Small” Abellera Jr. in Davao last January where the latter asked him to pay P5 million so he could seek protection from Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, President Rodrigo Duterte’s son.

I disagree. Hindi exception to the rule. Sa tingin ko mas nakararami yung may integridad, especially among the military officers. I grew up in a military community and that's my personal observation.
