Vehicle Batteries?

Recommended Posts

Thats good. 30+ months...!!!!

I had a not so good experience with Motolite maintenance-free

I got a new one and it lasted only for 7 months.

Motolite gave me a replacement as it its covered under the 12-month warantee.

The new replacement lasted for 20 months.

Perhaps conditions also influence its life ... e.g. parked in a hot spot will likely

reduce the life term.

motolite maintenance free. been using it for almost 3 years already.

pangmatagalan..

actually, the life of your battery depend on several factors namely:

a) the condition of your alternator

B) electronic components that you've added

c) the contacts (terminals).

kotse ko kasi, all stock, and i seldom use the mp3 player feature of my HU. parati lang akong AM/FM radio. i seldom use the fog/auxilliary lamps. i also check the condition of my terminals and clean it every 6 months.

yung stock battery ko (the battery that was installed when i got my car from the casa) also lasted for 3.5 years.

I replaced my stock battery with OPTIMA deep cycle, 750 cca spiral cell battery, it's maintenance free and it has no liquid contents so it can be installed upside down or sideways. I used this brand for its realiabity on taking lots of car electrical accessory loads such as big car stereo system, neon etc. I've been using this battery for almost 6 years now and still going.
