There are two businesses that can't fail.

First, a funeral parlor. There are always people to bury or to cremate.

Second, religion. There are always people looking for relief from the sufferings in this world.

One is about helping people deal with death. The other is about helping people deal with what comes after.

For myself, I'd rather have a bar. The problem is, I'd be my own best customer (a line from Casablanca).

Minimum acceptable rate of return is 5% -- dapat relatively 'safe' investment. Kahit 'substantial' ang initial capitalization -- basta maliit lang 'cash-burn' rate after the initial investment, something like real estate -- unfortunately real estate right now does not make a ROI of 5% per annum.

Like I've said, I've got an investor seriously looking to invest in the Philippines. PM mo sa akin ang idea mo, malay mo, maybe we can help each other out. I'm serious about this. NO MONKEY business.

Cge, I'll think about it.. actually, we're expanding right now and we need cash inflows (we're developing this 2 new product lines).. but the 5% would be so high if you compare it with banks.. nweis, i'll discuss it first with my partners. Hm, why dont you make a proposal instead so I can show it to my partners?

Ni hindi ko pa nga alam kung anong business ito eh. So how can I make a proposal? The money at my disposal was supposed to be used for my US trip -- na hindi natuloy dahil sa mga hinayupak na consul sa US embassy.

PM me the business. I'll think about it. I'm serious.

Nweis, yun ang exception.. anything na racket.. sure-fire yayaman ka talaga.. like selling drugs, yun kay baladjay, etc.. basta racket dude.

putcha, nagnenegosyo kaba?! o nag-loloko!

real estate can go 6%++ pag marunong ka sa real estate!

anyway, there's no such thing as a "safe" investment, kahit relative pa ginamit mo.

kung trip mo talaga mag-invest tol alamin mo muna saan ka malakas then hanap ka ng tao kung saan ka mahina. kasi pansin ko medyo d mo pa ata alam kung anong gusto mong pasukan...parang nag-hahanap ka lang kung ano man dumapo sa palad mo...which is by the way RISKY (u shud manage risk)

tao talaga kahit kelan o,

no wonder iilan palang mga lucio tan d2 at henry sy.

franchise b4 was dubbed "RACKET" look at franchise now

MLM is legal, kaso madaming technicalities that would mek it illegal lalo na based sa laws natin, if it is illegal then why the hell did SEC and DTI approved them anyway (ofcourse yung iba under the table).

eto nalang...pinaka-magandang way to say its legal and viable...why did the Phil. Martketing Ascociation approved this a viable, low entry, low cash BUSINESS?

to lang yan, "whatever floats your boat!", m not trying to convince you or anything explain ko lang side ko.

wehehe.. bat ganun? laging sinasabi sa kin yun?

nweis, sinabi mo na.. under the table chong.. ganun ang labanan ngayon.. pag sumingaw, kanya-kanyang hugasan na lang ng kamay. ok yan mlm kung at least may product.. pero dahil sa lahat ng scams na lumalabas ngayon, naging aware na rin ang mga tao.. so i really doubt it kung magprosper pa yan ganyang business nowadays.. ;)
