Bought Whey Protein earlier. I wanted to ask how to intake it? Any advice is appreciated. I wanted to lose some weight and build some muscle, not too big, I just wanted it to be defined and have cuts. Also if there are DOs and DONTs it would be really helpful.

1. increase calorie intake. esp. protein

2. lift weights in progressive overload and volume

3. rest

lifting heavy around 8-12 reps per set stimulates protein synthesis which results to muscle building. make sure to consume more calories (protein riched foods) than you burn per day. get ample rest/sleep.

No such thing as a fast away. You can try extreme dieting, but I would not recommend it unless you're prepared to lose much muscle mass. The most effective way is still the best: proper nutrition and exercise. Exercise would mean both aerobic and anaerobic. It might take around 6 months to one year, depending on how much body fat you have initially.

Meg has a video which shows exercises using only body weight. It takes longer to build muscle that way, but it can be done.

Thanks for the help! Will definitely try this. How much longer is it to do body weight though? Willing to take the time naman if I can achieve my goals and save money pa.

Depends on the intensity and duration I would think. I would think at least twice as long as using weights, maybe a bit longer.

Lift HEAVY WEIGHTS.

As in heavy.

Squats. Deadlift. Barbell Row. Lat pull. Cable pull. Etc.

Wag pabebe. If you like to build muscles you need to lift heavy, baby!

What else?

Eat protein enriched food within 30 mins after work out.

Yun lang. Do not do Cardio ng sobra (if you are thin) , or else itll lose your muscle mass.

Sipag. Tsaga. Consistency.

Veer away from supplements muna and focus more on your work out and solid foods.
