good! but they should be prosecuted too....

If you read the post again, the President ordered relief and court martial proceedings. Court Martial means procecution. Just letting you know.

yes, but drivers license is not a required ID.... you may choose not to avail one, especially if you do not drive.

Your issue is that your home address should not be shown in the ID.

It's irrelevant if the Diver's License ID is mandatory or not. It is still a National ID and its computer records are stored in government archives.

Palusot pa kasi. The more appropriate response from you should have been, "OO nga ano...."

Whatever happened to "walang corruption" sa gobyernong Duterte? That's almost 5X higher lost to corruption than it was 7 years ago...

Duterte is not claiming that there will be zero corruption. Corruption is already there for generations. He clearly said he will not tolerate corruption, meaning, he will not cover up corrupt activities of government officials even if they are his political allies.

More cases are being uncovered by COA specifically because the present administration do not cover them up.

agree to this.

ever wondered why COA is soooo ACTIVE now sa tinagal tagal ng existence nila sa mga nagdaang pangulo? Because no one is pressuring them to release such findings.

Because previous admins tend to cover and pressure them and most of the time nasusuhulan.

Isang malaking LOL. How narrow is your definition of "corruption"?

Tsaka COA is an independent body, 'no.

Your naivete is really apparent here. You failed to consider that COA can be pressured (or bribed?) by the Administration to be silent on their findings. They can also be "persuaded" to be selective and release findings that negatively affect the political opposition only. Some incriminating COA reports can even be arranged to be reversed. Abnoy's administration was very good at that.

But recently, increasing number of COA findings are being released to public knowledge. This is mainly because the present administration does not exert pressure to silence them.

Oh... is that like how the CHR can also be pressured (bribed?) by the Administration to be silent on their findings? Still a LOL.

like i said, the driver's license is NOT mandatory unlike the new system...

even some office IDs, whcih are not mandatory, have addresses too.

there lies the difference......

Driver's license is a national record. Just like your Passport. Your address, and other personal information are there. Many government agencies, including the Police and Military, have access to that information.

It is irrelevant whether it is a mandatory ID or not.

What is relevant is that your Driver's License ID has your personal information and that information is available to others who may use it against your personal interest. This is the same as your issue vs. National ID. So what else is there to lose? You've already compromised your personal information when you got your Driver's License, or your Passport, or your SSS/GSIS ID.

Another example of your naivete on government functional organization.

CHR is composed of politically appointed individuals who were chosen according to their political advocacies.

COA is a government bureaucracy composed of full-time career government employees subject to performance evaluation, promotion, retirement,etc...

Will they behave the same?

Go figure.

LOL pa din. Chairmanship/Commissioners of both branches are appointed. Syempre naman the rest of the staff will be composed of career government employees.

IN ANY CASE:

Bakit nun 2017 biglang naging 5X greater ang nanankaw sa kaban ng bayan if Dutdut is really against corruption? Kung hindi niya tino tolerate yun, it should have gone down man lang at least, diba?

Hindi mo pa rin naiintindihan.

COA = career bureaucrats including the commissioner who is appointed from the ranks. There are hundreds of them working nationwide.

CHR = political appointees. They all fit in one office.

In any case:

5x because it is not covered up.

Analogy: Women nowadays are more likely to report sexual harrassment. Reported harassment cases are increasing. Is it because more men today are sexually harassing women, or is it because more women today choose not to keep quiet because they are no longer fearful of reporting it?

Go figure.

I wonder what his running mate is feeling right now.

  1. He lacks the tough guy look, worse still, he even has a soft, feminine look. Sa tingin ko, tinanggap sya ng partido as Du30's running mate to counter-balance Digong's rough "butangero" image.
  2. He doesn't have the power base - a nationwide network of supporters who can support his programs or defend him from his political enemies.
  3. He doesn't have enough track record in the executive area. He spent too much time in the legislative.

what do you guys think of duterte contemplating of an early resignation from the presidency?

His message is clear to me.

He will step down IF he will be replaced by the likes of Bongbong Marcos or Chiz Escudero.

Since Leni Robredo, whom he labeled as weak and ineffective, is still his legal successor, he will NOT resign anytime soon.

His utterance regarding his resignation is a pure s@%t of a bull.

Nothing new and shouldn't be taken seriously and you're right he cant do it since he doesn't like Leni.
