ok itong group na ito ah i just turn 37 last december.....i think our generation is by far the best. halos lahat ng exciting na ngyari inabot ng geneation natin. hanggang ngayon enjoy pa din tayo in what this present generation has to offer kasi bata pa rin naman tayo at kaya pa.....

Decada 70's
- martial law

- disco
- michael jordan (the best pa din in my book)
- sauna bath....happy ako...happy talaga..happy :-)

Decada 90's
- berlin wall
- pope visit
- miss universe (dito sure na ako, dahil nakita ko sila sa picc during rehearsals. 2nd time na nag host tayo.)
- halleys comet.
- trading cards at comics
- cellphone pa uso pa lang....
- gulf war
- ginebra vs purefoods vs san miguels vs alaska

at marami pang iba sa generations natin.....baka meron din kayong mga memorable na naalala sa ating generations...
wala lang gusto ko lang mag senti....

The Pope first visited the Philippines in the early 80s noong panahon pa ng Conjugal Dictatorship. I remember na panay ang buntot ni Imelda everywhere the Pope went. :thumbsdownsmiley: Thus, the Holy Father's visit to the Philippines back in the 90s was the second time he was there. :)

Here's another topic for sharing....

Just last month (January), I attended my niece's debut. Can you believe that? When I first saw her 18 years ago, she looked like a doll. She was just so small. Now she's a grown woman, in college, looking so pretty. During her debut, I had to dance with her...a thought which caused me some distress. But after some drinks (alcoholic, of course), I made it somehow. Since everyone was so formal, I decided to do a "The King and I" routine (the dance). I think my lovely niece enjoyed the change. Later that evening, my mother told me she was afraid that I would stumble. I didn't. The dance lasted just about a minute, but I enjoyed it.

ohhhhh i went to my niece's (my older sister's oldest child) debut late last year too.... i was teary-eyed watching her dance with her dad who came all the way from Saudi (an OFW for 10 years now) to our youngest brother's singing of I Will Be Here

Tomorrow morning if you wake up
And the sun does not appear
I will be here
If in the dark we lose sight of love
Hold my hand and have no fear
I will be here

I will be here
WHen you feel like being quiet
When you need to speak your mind
I will listen
And I will be here
When the laughter turns to cryin'
Through the winning, losing and trying
We'll be together
I will be here

Tomorrow morning if you wake up
And the future is unclear
I will be here
Sure as season's are made for change
Our lifetimes are made for years
I will be here

I will be here
you can cry on my shoulder
When the mirror tells us we're older
I will hold you
And I will be here
When the laughter turns to cryin'
Through the winning, losing and tryin'
We'll be together

I will be true to the promise I have made
To you and to the one who gave you to me
I will be here

And just as sure as season's are made for change
Our lifetimes are made for years
So I, I will be here
We'll be together
Cuz I will be here

If i am on your shoes yes .. i would consider getting serious with a single parent .. but of course there are some factors to consider, one if she is totally single, two legally separated, three you have feelings for each other ...

just my two cents .. because i for one is a single mom :)

Being a single mom, if i may lift a quote from Cuba Gooding's character in Jerry Maguire:
"That's a sacred thing. "

Hats off to you, ma'am.

I agree. I still remember the day when Voltes V premiered in the Philippines on Channel 7: May 5, 1978. :thumbsupsmiley: 6 p.m. ang time slot, bago mag-Anna Lisa.
