It consists of two stages, as mentioned earlier. Diagnostic an therapeutic. Cost varies but you may wanna check out Philippines Lung Center which is one of the first, if not the first, sleep lab in the country. They also charge reasonably, plus you get a hefty assistance from Philhealth if your a member. Back then, Philhealth didn't cover this.

CPAP could go as low as 40 but as high as 120k, depending on model, brand and functions.

It's cheaper to get it in the US but you lose customer support which is easily accessible.

Where is best clinic to go to address excessive snoring? And how much? TIA

there are hospitals like UST and st. luke's with sleep centers and sleep doctors.

Sleep doctors are pulmonologists (lung specialists).

They do sleep studies to determine cause and advise proper treatment.

Most common cause of excessive snoring is sleep apnea, where too much CO2 retention occurs. Hence, you get sleep disturbance at night, then you get sleepy during the day (just google. I'm tamad to explain the whole thing :) ). Treatment is CPAP, unless there are now modern modes of treatment that I am not aware of ---> please see posts above.

I am not sure, though, about the cost.

Paano if you have nasal drip while you're lying down.

Never had that problem when I'm in a vertical position.

Feeling ko my snoring is because of the drip going down to my throat.

ENT is not my specialization, but it only follows that you have to address the cause of the nasal drip.

Have yourself seen by an ENT to determine the cause (e.g. allergic rhinitis, then there are antihistamines for that).

When you're lying down kase, whatever is in the upper part of your throat (including the back of your nasal cavity) will have a tendency to enter your trachea (airways) , hence the discomfort and throat clearing and eventual coughing.

Again, pls see an ENT.

thanks.
