The Flipside of Social Networking (Facebook, MySpace, Multiply, Friend

Recommended Posts

social sites lets you see what people want you to see but not who you really are. I just use messenger to connect with friends and colleagues.. di na kailangan mag post ng flex pics. I just post flex pics on my respective car/gun whatever groups at least doon personal mo sila kilala at nakakasama.

Social Networking is killing real socialization between friends, family, co-workers, relationships.

Before if a couple has a problem it will show and others can step in or intervene before it gets out of hand, today you will only see good and loving pictures of couples, and you will be shocked that one day they are already separated.

Before People are more responsible in saying or making comments, and if you say something it will be face to face and direct communication. Today people just say what they want and everyone is irresponsibly making comments or false news, and everyone is brave because they are behind their devices and internet.

The life before social networking / social media is the best.

Talking about risks

Socmed is not just about connecting with friends and loved ones. It's become a great place to find what you want and need, I mean from beauty prods to food, yup, a great place.

Downside: scams and expectations vs reality are all too real to ignore.

Prior research has shown that the use of social media may detract from face-to-face relationships, reduce investment in meaningful activities, increase sedentary behavior by encouraging more screen time, lead to internet addiction, and erode self-esteem through unfavorable social comparison.

Yung minsan gusto mo sana tahimik lang muna so as in no post muna. Tapos after a week pa lang may tatawag na sa yo tatanong kung bakit di ka nagpopost. What the..
