Low car diet - meaning moderate consumption of rice,bread, potatoes and many more bawal ang extra rice
Sugary beverage- Bawal coke and many more
Bawal sugary sweets - ice cream and cake

avoid food with simple sugars. eat more protein

control food intake especially the ones that is converted to sugar and as the doctor said - "MOVE!!!" as in exercise. I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes four years ago

How high is your blood sugar? How often do you check? Is it anywhere close to where it should be for your age and weight? You need some data to begin with before you can start.

Limiting carbs and cutting out sugar sa diet worked for me. Was pre-diabetic before, now balik na sa normal.

NOT an expert, but here goes:

 

If you can't live without rice, try switching from white to brown rice - low glycemic index and high fiber content. Or if you don't mind the price, try quinoa instead. It can take the place of rice, and it has a reasonable amount of protein in it as well
