WWE Wrestling/Usapang Wrestling

walang appeal sa akin yang WWF or WWE.

o well, kanya-kanyang trip yan.

haha! no offense meant. peace! :)

I agree with one of our friends here. Mas maganda ang UFC. We all know that professional wrestling is fixed, but we suspend our disbelief. Nakakatuwa kasi. There are real athletes in professional wrestling. Kung hindi ka athlete, patay ka na with all those hits (how can anyone, in real life, actually survive a piledriver? but you see on replay may konting alalay). Nakita naman natin sa documentaries yan. But showbiz aside, mas maganda pa rin ang UFC.

ang maganda kasi sa ufc is the fact na totoo sya...pero minsan pag hindi magaling ang naglalaban 10 minutes na silang nagyayakapan wla pa ring nangyayaring maganda nkaka bore tuloy minsan...saka sa ufc you wont see someone FLY WITHOUT WINGS, defying the law of gravity.....and after the fights bati-bati na yung sa ufc eh sa wwe before, while and after the match away pa rin.....

scripted nga pero you dont know what will happen next kaya may suspense pa rin.....sabi nga nila wwe is the soap for the guys!!!!!

after the smoke is gone, after all dust settled wwe rulezzzz!!!

it's true , it's true...

and that's the bottom line.....

game over........

rockhard, I don't know if you were around during the time, but there was once this wrestler called Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka. He exemplified what you said about flying without wings. He would finish a match by jumping from the top rope ... but without the clumsiness of many pro wrestlers. The last I saw him, binugbog siya ni Undertaker who was then just a rising star.

I'm a big fan of wrestling, kaya buti na lang nagkaroon sa Solar Channel!! WWE Heat is on wed. 9pm, followed by Raw. Velocity naman is on fri. 9pm. Nagre-replay naman sila every sat. & sun. mga 3pm yata.

I've been a fan since early 1980s, kainis nga nung tinaggal nila sa star sports. Well after 2 years nakakapanood ako ulit!

:P

There was this documentary showed on HBO. I can't recall the exact title, but it may be "Under the Mat." It concerned professional wrestling . The scripts (they actually have writers), the choreography, etc. Among the featured wrestlers were Jake "the snake" Roberts, Mankind, and Terry Funk. Like I said, you have to be a real athlete to perform, since your athletic ability will most probably save your opponent from life-threatening injury. But I keep wondering. Do these wrestlers get paid enough to undergo the torture that they sometimes suffer as part of the script? In the documentary I cited, Mankind's children were crying as they watched their father bleeding from all those hits to the head with a chair inflicted by The Rock. It was in the script, but explain that to a child seeing his father being beaten up.

"Beyond The Mat" yun pare. Balita ko in-attempt bilhin ni Vince McMahon yung documentary film na yun kasi it featured the wrestlers as "humans", natakot ata sya baka ma-"damage" yung product nya.
