^ I agree.

With the name, expect a lot of negative reactions from our ultra-conservative society. FHM is already pushing the envelope, Playboy Phils pa.

Plus, no frontal nudity? As streakshooter said, Playboy will not be Playboy without frontal nudity.

Good luck to Eric Ramos. If he can pull it off by lasting more than a year (unlike Pump), hats off to him. But now, I'm very skeptical

what does our law/s say about freedom of expression?

Ito lnag naman ang hindi nasusunod eh. ( bold ) You see racism at a regular basis in tv (sketch shows like bubblegang and other similar shows) pero ok lnag. Pero pag mga nudity. Puna kaagad.

Malabo din ang law eh. Im not that savy on the law but dosen't the Revised Penal Code Title 6 contradict freedom of expession?

I got word that:

1. Eric Ramos was fired as editor-in-chief

2. Release of first issue might be delayed - baka beyond March 2008

3. Walang masyadong nudity - para lang din FHM. Maxim, etc. - because Playboy is actually more of a lifestyle magazine, selling an expensive, high class lifestyle as much as it "sells" girls (it's famous for its Playboy Interview of VIPS, short story contributuons of great writers and novelists - I heard Butch Dalisay will be a regular here, college football review, etc)

Kung ganoon lang din ang gagawin ng Playboy then 'wag na lang silang maglabas ng Philippine edition..
