Ano ba talaga, kuya?
There was a time nga that they played "Unchained Melody." BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Someone should educate them what "rock n' roll" is all about.

Hindi ko na rin naman kailangang makinig ng NU 107, marami naman akong cds e. Tsaka they don't play METAL anyway. With the advent of mp3s and the net, I don't need NU to supply me with music.

I think the problem with NU is that many of their radio veterans left about 2 years ago, including the station manager Myrene (of Sandwich). While I don't know if this is true, the reason why NU puts lousy music on the playlist is because one of the people inside is on the "payola" from the record labels (which would explain Avril). And while I absolutely cannot stand emo rock, it seems emo is the choice of music of the highschool crowd, NU's biggest target audience.
indeed.... most of their better DJs chose to play for their respective bands full time.... i believe emo is more like a fad. gaya ng new metal a couple of years back so definitely it would die out soon. but i would rather listen to local emo bands than to anything from those "manufactured" rock acts like avril!!

ive been out of the country for 5 years now so i cant really tell how "worse" theyve gotten already. but even back then, there were already signs that Nu has pussified their playlist. i remember hearing eminem and cypress hill tunes inbetween metallica and 311 songs.
Nu 107 is just as "commercialized" as the next FM station. They've got alot of advertisers that they need to keep happy.. and in order for them to do that is to have alot of people listen in to their station. But sadly, people are not into same kind of rock music were into. So Nu ends up playing music that will appeal to the most number of people.. pussy music!!
the only good thing i can really say about Nu is that they do a good job at bringing unknown and unsiged talent right into the spotlight. but then again, most of these new bands are highschool kids who are into this emo bullshit. id be great if a new led zeppelin, or black sabbath sounding band came about. or even some good old fashioned trash metal.. like the pre-black album metallica. that would rock!!
